My daughters (6 & 3) learned the rules quickly and play it by themselves unprompted. The pieces are well-made and the artwork gorgeous. The best part? My 6 year old usually struggles to lose gracefully, but the everyone-wins/loses style of the game is helping her get better at losing. I love that this game encourages teamwork and cooperation!The only downside: no boy fairies!Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this game!

My granddaughter was attracted to the graphics on the outside of the box which is understandable. The directions for the game are extremely confusing on the inside and it’s not much of a game at all. It would not be something I would buy for someone as a gift now having this experience. My experience at the store, however, was lovely. The owner was friendly and informative, and there were a lot of things that I would buy as baby or infant gifts. Way fewer things for older kids

We really loved playing The Fairy Game! The game was fun, engaging, and easy to understand for the whole family! The design was sturdy, colorful, and well thought out. I liked having the instructions conveniently on the lid so we don’t have to worry about our children losing them. I loved that we worked as a team to beat Mr. Winter instead of against each other! My kids, ages 9, 7, 5, 3 all enjoy this game. I love that this game requires the kids to work together for a common cause. Lots of laughter, some sighs of frustration, lots of teamwork and fun as they figure out how they can beat Mr. Winter. My kids can set up and play themselves, giving me a bit of time to do other things. But my husband and I have also enjoyed playing with them! Fun game for all. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression is the high quality of the pieces. The colors are bright and cards are thick and won’t damage easily. Both my 5-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son enjoyed the game and were engaged. It was easy to catch on to the rules. We played 3 times in a row, with each game lasting about 10-15 minutes, and no one lost interest. It’s a cooperative game, so there was no fighting about who did better. Great family game!
We received this as a gift from someone & my girls (4.5 and 6) have enjoyed playing it together. They play it by themselves & as a family with us. It took us a bit to figure out how to play, but once we got it, it was easy to understand. I’m buying one for some friends who I think will also enjoy it :)
My daughter has really enjoyed this game. It’s a quick play which encourages trying again when we’re unsuccessful at beating Mr. Winter. She loves the different elements and it’s easy to learn.
I bought this for my 5 year old niece who has a problem losing gracefully. She pouts or throws a tantrum at the first hint of things not going her way so I liked the idea of a cooperative game. She enjoyed it and liked fighting against "Mr. Winter" and the fairy theme. Even my 7 yo nephew who likes dragons and dinos was into it. Only at the very end when grandma got the card that won the game did my niece show a hint of sour grapes, but overall I'd call it a successful purchase!
We love this game. It is simple to understand and easy to set up. We play as a family, and my 3, 6, and 8-year-olds also play by themselves with no problems. The game has a joint strategy aspect to it, as well as a sharing aspect. It’s well made and stands up the abuse of little hands who want to hold cards too tightly. The game plays through quickly, perfect for before bedtime. It’s a new favorite for family game night. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this game
