This handwash was a huge disappointment for a number of reasons.Firstly, the bottle claims the product was "Pure & Gentle" and "dermatologically tested" however, this wasn't the case for me as it made my hands feel incredibly dry and sore which is bizarre for a "100% soap free" product.I found the handwash took a while to lather, and while it did indeed clean my hands, I felt like there was a strange residue on my skin even after thorough rinsing with clean water. I feel this residue contributed to the skin dryness and discomfort I experienced.I found the scent to be very masculine and quite unpleasant (think of a cross between herbal bubble bath and old fashioned aftershave). I couldn't decide what the smell was it was very slightly lemon with Apple and another smell I couldn't decided on coming through. I love this soap. I discovered it in a beautiful boutique place I was staying and wanted to emulate the feeling so stocked up. But I cant justify buying a new pack each time and a refill version isnt available, so will go back to my previous brand. Come on Pears, sort it out!
