Studio Acrylics High Viscosity is a fine acrylic offering vivid and deep, richly pigmented colours with a matt, satin finish. Its thick consistency is particularly suited to work in dimension. They can be used alone, mixed together, or combined with Studio Acrylics mediums depending on the desired effect. Very adherent and indelible once dry, Studio Acrylics is suitable for most surfaces and ideal for Mixed Media techniques and working in layers. Dry applications offer a permanent and flexible paint film, with good lightfastness. Studio Acrylics High Viscosity is available in 100 ml tubes in 62 colours, of which 5 Metallic, 7 Dyna, and 3 Fluo colours. In addition, 50 selected colours are offered in 250 ml tubes and 59 selected colours are offered in 500 ml jars. AP certified.

Ordered several of the iridescent .they are abut overpriced for 100 ml . And either the iridescent Silver or the iridescent blue/black left tiny chunks in the paints even after being very well mixed with Pebeo Pouring medium...I used both colors in the same painting ....so I would suggest letting those colors sit for a few hours prior to using them since they probably contain mica that needs to dissolve better before using ... I tried the silver a 2nd time and after mixing and waiting till the next day to use it turned out great but i have not tried the blue/black a 2nd time yet also the blue /black looks nothing like the color strip shown online ... its more blue purple silver graphite all together....very hard to describe but still very very pretty but not dark ... MoreOrdered several of the iridescent .they are abut overpriced for 100 ml . Just be careful pouring after mixing without waiting ... i was mad that it was wasted and there were so many tiny chunks i couldn't even pick them out ... yes I tried. Lol . Colors are very vibrant and look much prettier in person especially the green/blue and blue/green . Those are all I can comment on .

I purchased this product to use in Acrylic Pours as I was interested to see how it would turn out, I was hesitant as first as I thought the metallic would be over powered by the other colours I was doing my pour with. Much to my surprise the paint worked beautifully, it left stunning reflective rings in my pour which were very eye catching. Although the metallic effect is much more subtle in pours it definitely makes all the difference. I have also used the colour in simple canvas paintings and the metallic is a lot more over powering within these paintings, you want to work with a 'less is more' attitude, a lot less subtle than the pours and the turn out is very striking. If you are bored with your current colour range I would definitely recommend including some of ... MoreI purchased this product to use in Acrylic Pours as I was interested to see how it would turn out, I was hesitant as first as I thought the metallic would be over powered by the other colours I was doing my pour with. Very affordable yet extremely high quality, you're getting more than what you pay I can garrentee that.A quick side note, if you mix a small amount of this paint with another colour (ideally darker or you may create another orange) it gives the colour a subtle but beautiful metallic hint.

Best acrylic paint I have used, may surprise some of you that I use these paints for airbrushing fishing lures. The high viscosity of these paints allow easy flow through the airbrush, secret is to thin paint with isopropyl alcohol. Art work on the lures are locked in with two coats of automotive clear (dipped) colours don’t run or fade. Amazing product, Cheers Robert

Whilst in lockdown , Hobbycraft has been a godsend. It was through the texts from them that I took an interest in Acrylic pouring . I have been very busy choosing the colours from the very many that Hobbycraft have in stock. So much fun in this particular art style as you just don't know what the outcome will be till you start manipulating the pour. You can make a masterpiece by default. I am sure many people have found new skills whilst being in lockdown. And Hobbycraft are there to supply the materials. A great store. They offer classes to help you along in your new artistic venture and the staff are very amenable.
Perfect for the art/Christmas gift craft that I needed. Fantastic quality, consistency and highly pigmented colour. Low smell to the paint, and i would definitely recommend it!. Oh and it is fantastic to paint on glass jars!.
I’ve been looking for the perfect white acrylic paint because artists will know, you can never have too much white paint. I’ve tried every brand but they’re either too small, not thick enough or too expensive. This ticks all the boxes I’m after and I am very pleased to say it is good. Would recommend to anyone after the perfect paint. Would buy again💗
Oh how I do love these paints. I primarily use for gel plate printing, but wouldn't hesitate to use for painting on canvas. The pigment load is good and the color range they offer is very good. I buy this brand routinely. Love the iridescent gold too, this iridescent Silver is beautiful. Full body, creamy and easy to work with. #blicksweepstakes
I used Pebeo paints from the Mixed Media Discovery Set on a small table top which I previously painted with acrylic paint that had a sheen. Using a 'Jackson Pollock' style of random flicking and a mix of Vitrail, Prisme and Moon, the overall effect is stunning. While still tacky, I sprinkled some gold leaf flakes across and flattened them down. The special effects with these paints are subtle; the cells and lacing that form are tiny so don't expect the kind of bold effects that you can get with acrylic pouring and added silicone etc. These Pebeo paints are oil based and the finished effect is lovely and shimmery. As my project is a usable table, I will coat the top with a layer of epoxy resin to protect my 'artwork'. In summary, these paints are very easy to use ... MoreI used Pebeo paints from the Mixed Media Discovery Set on a small table top which I previously painted with acrylic paint that had a sheen. Excellent, punchy, vivid, fluorescent colour even when used on top of some dark colours. A thick and high pigment paint.Much better than some other fluorescent brands that can be a bit transparent.Would deffo recommend and use again
Excellent stuff. I’m a painter and decorator and tried this for some detail work. Has very good body so can take quite a bit of thinning, Usec with a base coat and 2 coats made it solid. One negative is 2nd coat sent it into the realms of bright orange rather than copper.
