I have two mini Schnauzers who are renowned for having poor teeth. They love these sticks although I cant be sure they are doing any good but I still give them to them just in case.
We buy the smaller ones for our German Shepherd so she can have them twice a day after food. She absolutely loves them.
My Jack Russells teeth were cleaned etc at the Vets earlier this year and since she has been having a Dentastick every day along with using dog toothpaste and seaweed extract on her food. Her teeth are starting to brown up again so I cannot endorse any of these products. She is only ever given dog foodtreats.
Gave one to 8 week old puppy and she loved it. Afterwards did read the packet and saw it says for 16 weeks and over. However from about 9 weeks old whenever we have to leave her home alone we give her a dentastix because she loves them so much that she gets excited for us to leave. Im sure some people would suggest she shouldnt be left unsupervised but if you followed this advice youd be leaving the poor puppies with no toys or chews and they would be bored stupid while alone. She is only alone a couple of hours
These are theirBorder Terrierslast treat before going to bed and one of the highlights of their day. They seem to clean their back teeth well, but for the front I do additional brushing with a special toothpaste as recommended by the vet.
My dog goes really mad when I go for the sticks he totally loves them. I have tried a cheaper brand and he sniffs and walks away so that tells me he loves them. Another great purchase from Pet Planet.
My dog loves these, good price, theyll last a while, would be great if you could have a mixed box which includes the mint flavour.
