I just set up the case to accommodate my electronics so I can't speak to actual durability, but it looks like it should provide excellent impact and water protection. The foam was not hard to sculpt into the recesses I needed - a ruler and the small serrated saw on my multi-tool worked great for me to separate the foam along the pre-scored lines. It's not cheap, but seems very well-made.

It's a Pelican case, what's there to say beyond they float, a gorilla can't break them, and the TSA has no problem with them. What I do like most is the ability to get replacement foam inserts for our changing uses/needs. Love them in orange.
