Great kayaks, one issue is the seat adjustment strap buckle broke on our first trip out. The buckle is plastic and very poorly made. I ordered several replacement straps from pelican because it will defiantly happen again. Pelican needs to make these buckles out of metal. Other than that, the kayaks are great.

The floor padding was coming up and one of the straps was broken when I picked it up from the store. It also just feels cheaply built. I immediately returned it. I would not recommend it, especially for the higher price point.

This is a very good kayak. Pretty dang sturdy to stand on. Would recommend a longer paddle though as it’s a bigger kayak and takes some energy to paddle and the shorter one I have takes some energy during long trips. Or you can buy the optional transom to put the trolling motor on it. Overall great kayak though. The only reason for the 4 stars is because when I got home and took the plastic off it was missing one of the j hooks that holds the paddle on which was no biggie since I had some extras. Also it had some scratches on the bottom so I think it was used and returned but unsure. Other than that I have no complaints. Amazing kayak

Very roomy I’m 6’3 and have plenty roomThe shape is different then your normal Kayak so not all racks work with it.I’m happy with my purchase
It's stable and comfortable. Plenty of ways to add your own modifications. Really a nice kayak overall
Purchased this on sale for ~$650. It is my first fishing kayak.PROS:Seat is comfortable. I like the ability to fold it and get the elevated seating.Stable enough to stand up and stretch legs.Light enough for me to carry and load/unload from my Honda accords roof rack.Plenty of room for storage in front and back.CONS:No handle in the back. And there is really nothing else to connect a strap to in the back. Makes it awkward to connect a rear strap for driving.Can’t really come up with anything else I don’t like about it enough to write here.OVERALL:For the money I feel it is a great value. I use this on small to medium size lakes for small to medium size fish. It gets the job done. I have no regrets with my purchase.
Super stable. Good standing/casting platform. Very comfortable chair, even for an old fat guy.
The kayak is great. The purchasing process was a nightmare, charged twice online, (was refunded), picked up the kayak and it was broken, so I went back to get another. They had one left in stock, sun faded very badly, and also broken in the same spot (skeg). Never recieved a receipt or order confirmation so I'm stuck with a broken Kayak in rough shape, and still paid full price. Pretty upsetting.
Seen the kayak on display a few weeks ago and was impressed by it, made the decision to purchase last week. I own 3 other pelican brand kayaks and this new one is no disappointment. The length vs width makes this a very stable and maneuverable kayak. I was able stand briefly and take a few strokes with the paddle (mind you im 240lbs on the hoof) The boosted seat option is a very nice upgrade for fishing, switching from seated to the boosted position quite easy too. Being able to turn around in the seat to get stuff out my crate behind me without it feeling like i was going to flip is soooo nice. Features that this kayak has and the price range is hands down the best value. I bought this kayak so I could get off the banks and go fishing in places I can’t walk to on local lakes and rivers. Overall it performs well in the water, you can stand up to fish, and the Ergoboost seat is very comfortable All in all this is a great kayak and well worth the price.
