They are a joy to write with. The Pelikan ink refills are the very best on the market as well. They may not be as well known as their Mont Blanc pen cousin, however they surely can match or even exceed the Mont Blanc quality standard. The Pelikan Pen offerings represent much better value for money than Mont Blanc pens.

Pelikan ballpoint pen. In beautiful gold/yellow gold. I love Pelikan pens and Pen Boutique has quite a selection. I ordered 2 Pelikan gold/yellow gold ballpoints -- one after the other. I lost the 1st one! But since I loved the pen and I loved working with Pen Boutique, I ordered the 2nd. And, I haven't lost it yet. Pen Boutique service is the best!
Black with gold trim, the Pelican 600 is for me just the right size and weight on both my chest pocket and on my hand. Its looks lack any pretense, its feel is such that it remains unobtrusive, like a quiet and competent friend.

I'd wanted the green/black striped ball point for 40 years and finally indulged myself during Covid-19 isolation. I got the 600 twist instead of the 400 clicker because it's heftier, and I'm happy that I did. It's beautiful and a pleasure to write with. The shipping was outstanding (unlike Amazon). The pen comes in a soft pouch inside a very heavy box which was packaged in TWO padded shipping envelopes. Pelikan box, as well as the pen, arrived in perfect condition.
