This is a wonderful blanket. I love the blanket stitch around the edges, so I associate with the blankets I knew growing up and the stitch my mother taught me. The colors are beautifully muted. I am very happy with my purchase.

Pendleton wool is reliably good. This blanket is not too heavy or thick and is machine washable. I have washed it and line-dried it as recommended, and the results were good. The manufacturer calls the color White but its not a pure white; its actually more like ecru. It was sold to me not by the manufacturer, but from an individual, as New, but my hunch is that it may have been purchased some time ago and may no longer be generally available. I havent used it yet on a bed but look forward to its comfort and warmth when colder temperatures return.

Color matches the photos pretty well. Blueish grey. it's definitely neither very soft nor super itchy. I haven't washed it yet. It may get softer after a wash or two. It's fairly lightweight and on the thin side. That's a comment about the weight pressing down on you, not a negative about quality. A good blanket for summer nights in my cool basement. I'll probably pair it with another blanket during winter

I love this blanket. It is lightweight and does not have a heavy feel. It is very warm. It is soft to the touch. And the color is exactly as shown on the website. I highly recommend this for purchase.
Beautiful blanket. I was hoping to use it over our light down but was TOO warm. Even on its own but we both sleep Hot with the window open all winter. Even though a real keeper. My son and daughter in law used it over their down Christmas week and loved it. How to impress the in laws, LOL Down and wool, unbeatable. Also just beautiful over the back of the sofa. This is heirloom quality ! I washed it a couple of times per previous reviews and it softens right up. I did fluff on ultra low in the dryer and then hung to dry. Be aware wool has a scent when damp but it leaves when dry. Also, I got it on sale which made it THE best deal ! I highly recommend this one ! Wool that’s washable ? ...gotta have one, buy with confidence.
I purchased this blanket to use as the main covering of a king sized bed. The look and color are pretty much what was looking for but the feel and warmth of the blanket are not working for me, especially at this price point. It is obviously wool so it has a bit of a rugged feel, somewhat on the itchy side I guess you could say. I was hoping it would be a little softer. It also does not create the warmth I was hoping for although it would be fine if you are layering it. I cannot comment on how it holds up after washing since I literally just received it and am likely going to return it.
Been using this blanket (twin size, charcoal stripe colorway) for one cool/cold cycle (fall/winter/spring), and have no complaints. This is a nice, medium-weight blanket that's just enough by itself on top of a sheet in cool temperatures. In winter—at least in an old, drafty house like mine—you'll want to add a layer (or two). In summer, this will probably be heavier than you need. No signs of pilling or wear so far. Colors are rich and have a lot of character. Haven't washed it yet (hang it out often on the line in the sun; i mean, how dirty can a blanket get sitting on a bed?). Not sure what kind of super-sensitive skin could lead reviewers to say this is "scratchy." It's not velvet, but it's nowhere near scratchy. Great value when on sale. Overall, I love this Pendleton washable wool blanket. It has the right amount of warmth/breathability and is well-made and attractive. Only point I'd mention is that it took a wash with air-drying to remove a bit of a scent from the blanket, which may have been the result of manufacturing/dye. It was definitely noticeable from first use, but now gone, and the blanket is perfect. I have since washed it several times, and it holds up wonderfully - no pilling, etc.
We really didn't need another blanket, but when I saw the pattern and beautiful earth tones of this blanket, I just couldn't walk away. I bought the Taupe stripe. It is gorgeous. It is lovelier than I expected. It goes beautifully with our light gray bedroom walls and dark cherrywood headboard. I love the fact that you can wash it and just know this blanket will soften up over the years. It is one of those blankets that could be in the family forever. Made me wonder who I could give this blanket to as a gift-it is that nice. Sizing is ample. Well worth the cost at full price.
The blanket itself is a generous size and easily covers a queen size bed. However, the colors are so different from the online image that I first thought a different blanket had been sent. While the image looks like brighter teals and (almost) orange, in actuality it is a dull blue and dark beige. Overall, it looks really "muddy." Haven't decided yet whether I will keep since it is wool or return because I cannot use it in the way I originally intended. Disappointing overall.
