Bin 28 offers a showcase of warm-climate Australian shiraz โ ripe, robust and generously flavoured. First made in 1959, Bin 28 was originally named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalimna Vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine was originally sourced. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with the Barossa Valley always well represented. Deep, dense cherry-black colour. Dark and brooding, the blackberry fruits and black olive tapenade nose seques to dark berry, fig and dark chocolate flavours on the palate. Peak drinking: Now - 2040.

Although the 19 crimes blend is by far my favourite, I was keen to try the whole Red series, The Shiraz was very nice and I would definitely recommend this and the other 19 crimes to anyone ๐

Wonderful light shiraz for tropical drinking. We drink a bottle most nights until its time to re-order again.

Great company to buy from. Great products, prices and dispatches quickly. I would recommend buying from Secret Bottle
One of the finest I've sampled in a very long time. I've some bottles over qw years old that have been stored with great care it stacks up quite well in a tasting.
Penfolds are rarely significantly discounted unfortunately however a one off Birthday discount pushed me to sample this quality again. May there be more such offers! Great drinking now.
Love this Pinot Noir - super smooth and a great flavour.
19 Crimes Red Blend has been our favorite winter red for a number of years. Don't buy it if you like powerful red wines. Smooth drinking similar to the best Merlot's. Ladies love it.
I purchased a dozen bottles to add to my cellar so I haven't tried any of this lot yet. But if it's of the same quality as all the other dozens of Jacobs Creek Double Barrel bottles of Shiraz I've enjoyed over the years it's bound to be a very good wine, and at an affordable price.
Red Wine is my drink and I have seriously found my forever favourite. I have never encountered such a smooth drop. I shall return!
