Quality product, above its price range. I have used Penn rods from the cheaper range for years and am more than happy with this product. As usual, Anaconda excelled with price and delivery service.
The Rod is good for Snappers. The design of this 2 pieces Rod is only suitable for boats. For inland anglers, it’s a piece of crap. They break the join where the Reel seat is disappointing for put in the car. I’m an inland angler, I don’t want to waste money on this rod not even taking it for free if you telling me use for my fishing trips.

Very happy with my first Penn Rod. Casts lures from a few grams to 60 grams a mile. Very light in weight but has a lot of strength for fishing 20lb line. Nice guides and finish too.
Great bang for buck, caught a 82cm jew on first drop and many more definitely recommend.
Great rod, wanted a heavier jigging rod for deeper water, awesome performance and tough
