I have chosen to run Penrite this race season to keep cost down and with out any bad data to go on started in January.the best thing for me is it does come on special regularly so I can buy in 20Lt lots and save a bunch.So far it is performing as expected and have received a oil analyze back from Nulon the other day with only the expected high iron content on a still running in engine.The 350 chev is running a dry sump system and does suffer from low speed oil pressure due to the pump being under driven more than a street engine.For some reason this does seem to go black quite quickly ,but oil test showed no problem .

I use in a race car so need a good quality product, yes is a little expensive but buy on sale, atleast when the engine detonates it wasn't the oil that caused it.

Fixed a lot of issues I was having with my rb25 best oil super cheap sell. To the people negatively saying it goes back quick all that means is that it's doing it's job cleaning as it lubricates. Highly would recommend

Switched to this oil in a pair of Mercruiser big block 8.1 liters in my boat with 600 hours on the motors. Previously used the recommended Merc 25/40 oil and the motors would start to use oil during the year and would require top offs from time to time. Switched to the Penrite Racing 15w/50 and haven't had to top it up yet after 10 months.Great value when comes on special.
Been using this for the last 5-6 years.Has the qualities of the more expensive premium products out there.Hopefully price doesn't go up anymore otherwise time to look elsewhere!
This oil is great. Not only Australian made but a proper Group IV full synthetic unlike most others on the market. This stuff goes one better though and is a Group IV and V Ester blend meaning it is much better than any Castro Edge or Mobil 1 oils on the marking for a similar price. Why on earth do people buy oils that are not proper full synthetics?

If you love your car and have a post 90’s high capacity v8, look no further. This oil heats up to optimal temperature within a minute or so. More than 5 times faster than standard. It significantly contributes to maintaining optimal temperature even on the hottest days with aircon on and idling in traffic for long periods of time. All who’ve seen the condition of my engine predicted it would be done within a few kms. It’s been more than 4 years now and it’s outperforming nearly everything. Although I do change the oil every year with a brand new high quality oil filter, but I do not spend my money on anything else. Buy and chill.
This is one of the two oils I feel comfortable will adequitely protect my 700hp GTR engine. Penrite 10 Tenths is the first choice, Royal Purple comes second.
Penrite is one of the few brands of oil that i actually trust and i have used a few over the years. In this case used in my ex's (split on amicable terms with no ill will) car before a long trip from Alice Springs to Melbourne.
