Convoy DHD utilises a low ash formula to increase protection and extend the life of emissions control systems such as DPFs (Diesel Particulate Filter) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction). Thanks to the use of low volatility hydrocracked base oils, Convoy DHD also minimises and controls engine oil consumption. The advanced additives package not only reduce engine wear but also reduce deposit formation and engine oil thickening caused by soot, helping to maintain specified oil viscosity for longer. Penrite Convoy DHD is suitable for use in most mixed fleet applications such as passenger, light duty, heavy duty vehicles as well as mining, construction and agricultural equipment where API CK-4, ACEA E9 or earlier specification 15W-40 engine oil is required. Also suitable as a mixed fleet oil in petrol and LPG vehicles.
