Is this product for you? Penrite Premium Mineral 5W-30 is a high quality, friction modified, SAE 5W-30 mineral engine oil. It contains pure hydrocracked base oils and an advanced anti-wear additive system for complete engine protection. This oil is licensed by the API (American Petroleum Institute) to meet SN Resource Conserving and ILSAC GF-5 specifications ensuring quality and satisfaction. It is also a great oil to use in late rotary engines like the Mazda RX8 that require this viscosity grade in a mineral oil base. Application Use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged engines. It's designed for modern petrol and LPG vehicles that require SAE 5W-30 engine oils meeting the fuel economy ILSAC GF-5 standard. Its API SN specification means it provides better resistance to sludge formation, increased wear protection, and lower piston deposits than previous and lower grade oils. It can also be used where previous API specifications SM, SL or SJ were recommended and where the earlier ILSAC GF-3 or GF-4 specifications were required. It is NOT recommended for use in diesels fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that require an ACEA C"grade Low-Mid SAPS engine oil. Vehicle and fuel types Premium Mineral 5W-30 is designed for use in passenger car, 4WD's and light commercial petrol driven vehicles. It's suitable for use in modern petrol, LPG and Hybrid engine vehicles as well as for everyday road use in Flex Fuel systems where E10 and E85 Ethanol fuels are used. It is not suitable for use in diesel engine vehicles and is not recommended for use in 4 stroke motorcycles with wet clutches.
