I don't compromise on Oil. once you have createed wear in your engine you cant take it away. Many Mechanics use Penrite, it is an Austraian Owned Company.

I have an old Toyota RAV (360 000 kms) which I service myself using this oil. The head gasket blew (due to radiator issues not related to the oil). Water now slowly mixes with the oil needing more frequent oil changes as the sump slowly fills with water. Obviously water management is a different more frequent daily challenge requiring car to only do short trips . The car has been used like this for about two years and keeps going even with water mixing with the Penrite oil.
Purchased the oil, of which I was happy with, thank you. I wished to purchase brake light globes for Honda station wagon 2002 model but was informed nil stock. Also wishing to purchase a pair of seat covers for same vehicle but was told no longer available due to fold down arm rests. so purchased One out of three. Thought it worth mentioning.
Have used many bottles of Penrite oil. Seems to be a market leader & never any issues as long as you change oil when you are suppose to. sales persons tend to sway this way as it seems as a better GP in this name brand. The service sticker on the bottle is always a good touch.
I've used this product in different vehicles over the years and found it to be a very good quality motor oil that retains its properties throughout the life of the recommended oil change interval. One of the key indications listed on the container and technical data sheet is the ability to use this product where either a 10W-30 or 10W-40 viscosity is needed, making it especially versatile across many Japanese and locally built petrol vehicles with better high temperature protection compared to 10W-30 viscosity oils.Penrite typically use added Zinc in their anti-wear package in many of their motor oils without it causing any problems to most modern catalytic converters and oxygen sensors. I have no concern in recommending this product.
This is the only brand I use for all my vehicles. I buy it and give it to the mechanics I use for services.
Extremely high quality oil for most engines in Australian conditions beaten only by there 10W-40 FULLY Synthetic oil in my opinion. Yes Penrite is expensive oil, but just remember your engine is substantially more expensive.
