Have a slight leak in the power steering and I go this as it was “stop leak”. Hasn’t quite worked so it’s off to the mechanicApart from that, no issues with how it works

My car got a minor leak. I was hoping to reduce the leak without spending big money to replace the power steering pump. I read the positive reviews here and confidently bought this item to give it a try. I followed the instruction to top up my car. This power steering fluid did exactly the opposite of what I was hoping for. The leak got worse until the point that my car is leaking and leaving stains wherever I go. Now I am thinking of replacing the power steering pump this week or next.

My car had a loud noise coming from steering pump, saw some advise on internet to flush steering oil. I flushed and replaced using this oil and the sound is gone. Car drive much smoother than before.
I have been using Penrite "OILS AIN'T OILS" since the 1980's. In fact all cars I have owned or repaired have been serviced using Penrite Oils. I am a classic car technician and because of events out of my control I only service my own cars and my families cars. I have never had a engine, gearbox, diff or anything else that uses oil go BANG. I brought Penrite Power Steering Fluid because I rebuilt the steering rack in my classic Skyline and I wanted the best oil could buy for it.
I'd have liked to leave 5 stars, but honestly - I do not notice ANY lighter steering (as a few have claimed) on my BA Fairmont Ghia than I already had. I don't have any leaks, so can't comment on the stopping leak side of things. Power steering fluid is Power steering fluid in my experience - Use quality brands for EVERYTHING - Penrite IS a good quality Australian made brand. End of story.

for about 2 months I was adding fluid to my PS every 4 days when my PS started making low fluid level noises and steering would get harder. I haven't checked the level after adding this stuff yet but it's been 2 weeks and still no low level noises and easy to steer. I give this a 10/10.
I have found that if you have a serious leak in your steering system, this doesn't stop it. In fact I've found that my leakage of steering fluid has increased. My car is obviously too old to repair and too costly. So I've used this steering fluid with stop leak just to get by until I can buy another second hand car.
i trust all of the products penrite make this powersteering fluid seems really good for my 2006 toyota kluger have been using it for the last 2years since it bought it
