I always drink Pepsi Max and have done for many decades. But it is getting very expensive to buy the 2 litre bottles, of which I drink 3 cases a fortnight. So I switched to Soda Stream, and as a result of discounts I have obtained from My Deal and elsewhere on the syrup and the CO2 canisters I am now saving myself $45 a fortnight. Plus, I actually prefer the Soda Stream version of Pepsi Max. So this was a great deal!

A decent substitute for Dr Pete

I love Dr Pete and was sad to see that this flavour was being discontinued.The Pepsi Cherry does scratch that itch when I get a craving, but it is clearly a different product.In its own right, Pepsi Cherry is a good flavour. The nuttiness of the cola paired with the sweet and slightly sour taste of cherries pairs well with each other so that every sip speaks of Americana.Adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream makes a wonderful dessert.

As good as the real stuff...

Having owned a Soda stream in the 80's I was dubious about owning one in the 20's...However we are super impressed with this stuff.We even did our own Pepsi challenge ( for those that remember ) with this against a can of the real stuff and five of us could not tell the difference, so happy days.Also cost effective ( minus the machine cost ).Much less wastage from 2L bottles both in fluid and plastic bottles.More convenient.

Excellent service and brilliant product

I've been using Sodastream for over a year now and would never go back to 2 litre bottles for my Pepsi Max. The best flavours are the Pepsi Max original, Cherry and 7 up Free, as well as Dr Pet and the Orange and Mango. Still a bit expensive for the branded flavours and would like to see the Pepsi Max Raspberry or Strawberry come out soon.The gas bottle service could be improved by including a Return Label in the box as I still have 2 boxes of 4 bottles to return and having trouble getting the right labels for the boxes.

Fantastic- like pepsi from a machine!

This product is amazing! It is essentially post mix restaurants etc use to make cola on tap. Tastes just like Pepsi max and it’s nice to know how much water you are drinking with it. Perfect for someone like me who drinks Pepsi max everyday!I do feel like it’s a bit pricey as the bottle was a bit smaller than expected. It does however claim to make 9L so may save money overall.

Fizz Poppin' Good!

I love SodaStream, I love Pepsi Max and I love Pepsi Max Cherry. I don't like single use plastic and can waste. Now that Pepsi Max Cherry is available for SodaStream, I'm glad I can finally enjoy the delicious taste with my meals again without feeling guilty about wasting plastic / cans. It tastes exactly like the ready to drink version available in shops. Now we just need the Raspberry, Lime and No Caffeine versions. Thank you SodaStream for bringing this to the UK!

Now that's changed with SodaStream - no more single use plastic and cans going to waste and I don't see myself going back.The Pepsi Max SodaStream Syrup might seem expensive but you have to remember you don't use the whole bottle for 500ml or 1 litre (depending on the size of the carbonating bottle). Depending on how sweet you like it, one bottle of syrup makes up to 9 litres. Winner!The actual taste of the drink when made correctly is what I would describe as identical to the ones widely available in bottles and cans. Not proper Pespi, sweetener avoiders beware

As one of the unlucky people who is left with an awful aftertaste with any sweetener, Pepsi is one of the few drinks I can still enjoy, so I was glad to see this. A way to save a little money and have a glass occasionally without having to pay through the nose for the cans. Imagine my disappointment on my first glass, being left with that dreadful taste I find so very hard to get rid of. I never thought to check the ingredients as Pepsi has always been 'safe' to drink but it has sucralose and acesulfame k. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

Replacing my plastic bottles of Pepsi!

Wasn't sure what to expect - I'm very fussy about my Pepsi :) But this is Good Stuff. Tastes like the ones that comes ready made and I now carry a bottle of this around with me. In fact, it's so tasty that my sister now only uses this after trying it at mine :) She loves the max cherry too, but I like my plain old max :) Definitely worth giving it a shot, and my plastic recycling bag is much much smaller these days :)

Tastes like “the real thing”

We stopped using our Soda Stream a while back because the sugar-free concentrates weren’t great. When I discovered 7-Up and Pepsi Max in my local supermarket the other week I decided to give it another go and was not disappointed. I was then delighted to find I could buy Cherry Pepsi Max and other flavours from the Soda Stream website and it really is every bit as good as buying it “pre-made”. Will definitely buy again.
