I would leave zero stars if I could. Pepsi is ruined. No information on the packaging telling of artificial sweeteners in place of more than half the sugar. I had a migraine for 3 days because of this. If I wanted artificial sweeteners, I would have bought Diet Pepsi, or Pepsi Max. It tastes foul.

Have always purchased Pepsi (for decades), but couldn't get this awful taste from my mouth. Eventually going against my better judgement and feeling I was going insane, I checked the details on the back of the can. How is it possible? I feel this is very misleading as its not identified at the front or in any way and looks like the original standard Pepsi. Why would a standard Pepsi have added sweeteners???? How am I able to buy normal Pepsi in the shops? Waitrose, you've not done well!!! I will not be buying these again.

So annoyed. I always used to treat myself to 8 x cans every few weeks and tonight I discovered Pepsi have changed their recipe with artificial sweeteners and less sugar, kept the same packaging and retained the same price tag. Won’t be buying this again. Disgraceful how freedom of choice is no longer an option.

Noticed a change to the taste of the drink. It has artificial sweetness in it. I use it as a mixer in my spirit. Tastes horrible. I know they are doing it for our own good. So why don't they lower the price like other pepsi? Now it's low sugar.
Always loved Pepsi but hate artificial sweeteners, which are arguably worse for you than sugar and taste HORRIBLE. Pepsi have just changed the recipe on the sly, reducing the sugar in their original recipe and replacing it with artificial sweeteners. Why?!! Now all variants of Pepsi contain artificial sweeteners, what's the point of having different versions? Let's just hope that Coca-Cola don't go the same way and we can keep buying Original/Classic Coke with no nasty artificial sweeteners. For me it's just sad and annoying that Pepsi have changed the recipe, I hate the taste of sweeteners and have other concerns about them - surely it's better to enjoy actual sugar in moderation than pump yourself full of chemicals that make your body THINK it's getting sugar, ... MoreAlways loved Pepsi but hate artificial sweeteners, which are arguably worse for you than sugar and taste HORRIBLE. For me it's just sad and annoying that Pepsi have changed the recipe, I hate the taste of sweeteners and have other concerns about them - surely it's better to enjoy actual sugar in moderation than pump yourself full of chemicals that make your body THINK it's getting sugar, respond with insulin release to deal with it, then there's no sugar to process? But this is a very serious issue for anyone with allergies to artificial sweeteners. Check the labels on any recently-bought Pepsi carefully, especially if you have allergies.
They’ve changed the recipe and now it tastes horrible, and leaves a bad after taste. They already have Diet Pepsi, and Pepsi Max which are both sugar free, so why take away the only option that people had for a real taste recipe. Such a shame. Back to Coca Cola!
Pepsi was my favourite cola since my teenage years. Now they've ruined 'normal' Pepsi with Sucralose and Acesulfame k :-(Both of those sweeteners cause inflammation, which is why people such as me are made ill by them,e.g. migraines, digestive problems. They already have Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Max, and we've been paying extra for 'normal' Pepsi for the sugar tax, so why have they done this??!I would also expect them to put a warning on the packaging; at the very least, they should have provided shelf tags for the supermarket to display notifying us of the recipe change.I expect a big name brand to treat it's customers with a bit more respect, instead they've tried to sneak in the change with no warning for people with sweetener allergy/intolerance.Not good.
Bought this recently not knowing the recipe changed as no warning on the bottle which is disgraceful. Tastes absolutely awful now. Anyone who wanted to eat sweeteners before already had diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max and all the flavoures variants along with most of the non-Pepsi brands nowadays so why reduce freedom of choice? Will no longer be buying Pepsi because this is not Pepsi, it's like a supermarket own brand.
I can't believe that Pepsi (Britvic) has taken their original sugar formula and bring in artificial sweeteners. Could this be a ploy like Coke did in the 80's when new taste coke? Just to bring back the original taste? Will Pepsi try the same tactics? Best way is to not buy Pepsi. Get Britvic in their pocket. So until Pepsi smartens up, it Coca Cola original taste from now on. So long Pepsi.
I am gutted that this now has sweetners in and so tastes horrible. There's no change to the packaging so you have no way of knowing until it's too late. People that don't want the sugar already had options, people like me drank this as a treat because we hate the taste of the sweetners. Now I'll have to drink Coke which I didn't like as much but will be better than this.
