I had a lot of the issues that other people have complained about (rips easily when tearing off a bag, holes form easily, etc.). These bags are somewhat delicate because they’re compostable. I’ve been able to prevent a lot of issues by handling them a little differently than other poop bags. First, when you’re trying to rip off one bag, you can’t just rip and go like other stronger plastic bags. You should bunch up the string of bags into as thinly as possible (like you’d twist to knot the bag) then hold the connected bags on both sides of the perforation line. Hold the thin bunched ends on both sides of the perforations and then pull so that the bag separates. Don’t use a lot of force when opening the bag and picking up. I carry another regular large plastic bag (like a mailer bag or something) in my dogwalking bag, and I throw these bags in there and into my dog walking bag. I toss the poops bags into the trash when I get to a trashcan or get home. I keep the regular plastic bag in my dog walking bag for this specific purpose. By doing this, I almost never have problems.

These bags have been helpful in our efforts to eliminate all plastic bags from our home. These compostable poop bags have been a great solution for my 50- and 85-pound dogs for about a year now. The sticker that secures the new roll shut appears to have been enhanced by the company. Now that the sticker is perforated, the bag does not develop a hole where the sticker was previously, and it divides when you wish to start a new roll. AMAZING advancement The way the bags are perforated also functions nicely. I've never had any trouble removing a fresh bag from the roll. The bags are fairly spacious and have never broken on me.
