I have other fountains but needed to replace one of the older ones. I noticed how each of our (seven indoor) cats liked to drink and then looked at all the various fountains on the market. And straight away our cats began using it and in the ways I hoped. And even now a couple of weeks later, they still prefer this fountain over the others. So for our feline family it's a big win! Bought the Seaside version for two cats. One is not a water drinker and has yet to use it. The other cat who enjoys water loves it. She is mesmerized watching it. sleeps next to it because it softly bubbles and drinks throughout the day and night.

We've previously purchased the large fountain-style water dispenser which we found our birds bathing in as well so need to get something for just the cat to drink from. This particular fountain is quiet, a good size and our cat loves it being at her height! The water bubbles only slightly at the top not putting her off from drinking but I'm finding she drinks even more water which I'm super happy about.

I've had this water fountain for several years now. My cat loves this water bowl.It's quiet to run, although sometimes it rattles as the metal rubs together occasionally.Otherwise it's very easy to pull apart to clean and to get replacement filters.
I am very happy with the fountain. Works well and easy to clean. Still have original ceramic 'Avalon' Petsafe fountain which is working well too. It gets a bit crusty after 8 years and Stainless steel is a better design I think. Using both at present and cats are happy with both. Thanks...

I bought the fountain with the hope of encouraging one of my cats to drink more. Unfortunately, he is not interested in it. He has a timid nature and is cautious of any change. So far he hasn't gone near it. His brother, on the other hand, has taken to it straight away. It has been a success with him as previously, with the water bowl, he would lick at the side and would flick water leaving a puddle every time he took a drink. With the fountain he just drinks at the very top of the cone and there is no more mess. My 18 year old is also not interested and doesn't go near it. It is very quiet only makes a small splashing noise. I cannot hear the motor except for when I am right next to it. It was easy to assemble following the step by step instructions.
Very happy with this product. My boy has taken to it well. Should have bought it much earlier. Very quiet as well. Highly recommend it for your pet.
Unfortunately my 10 month old British Shorthair does not go anywhere near this product. I have hardly used it and bought the charcoal filter for nothing. Such a waste of money
I recently bought this stainless steel pet fountain for my small dog to encourage my dog to drink more water. Surprisingly, she loves it and drinks from it immediately. It is easy to assemble and easy to clean.
