Petzl - Actik Blue

The compact headlamps in the Active series guarantee a high level of comfortable luminosity, a long burn time and a combination of light beams to provide a clear view in the dark, especially in outdoor activities that require a lot of movement. The rechargeable Actik headlamp with a combined light beam is ideal for dynamic outdoor activities such as mountaineering, jogging, skiing, hiking and cycling. The hybrid lamp is supplied with 3 AAA batteries, but can also be operated with a core rechargeable battery that can be recharged via a USB port. The red light preserves the eye's dark adaptation and prevents other people in the group from being dazzled. Thanks to its phosphorescent reflector, the headlamp is easy to find in the dark. The Actik headlamp is operated via a switch with a push button on the housing, which can be swivelled as required and is splash-proof (IPX4). The remaining battery life can be checked via the LED display when the lamp is switched on and off. The Actik should not switch on accidentally in the rucksack, which Petzl prevents with a lock function. After a long hike, the lamp can be quickly converted into a small lantern using the carrying case and provides light for a few pages of your favourite book. With three white light levels, red continuous and flashing light and its well thought-out design, the Actik 450 is a reliable companion for numerous adventures.

A capable little head torch

I wanted a performance upgrade to my old Petzl Tikka XP2 and the Actik is definitely an upgrade in all respects. The Actik gives superior lighting performance in the same size package. The light beam pattern is biased towards flood than distance. On standard power setting, in my opinion you still get around 10m of bright usuable illumination. Full power is very bright for such a small torch. I originally bought the Actik without the Petzl Core battery but soon bought one. The torch is brighter and runs for much longer using the Core battery rather than AAA batteries

I’m satisfied with the flashlight, good battery life on high-quality batteries, I had to get used to the sensations on my head a little, but the flashlight was easy-getting used to quickly. The elastic is not removable, a drawback. It shines brightly, medium mode is enough. Delivery was delayed for a week from the declared time. I recommend the seller.

Another quality product from Petzl, this is my sixth or seventh in the last twenty years as the technology evolves, never had one fail. I purchased this particular model as back up for the more powerful swift and also for the glow in the dark effect which makes finding at camp easier and the red setting for preservation of night vision, works well.

Good product
23 September 2020

I have not tested it outdoors yet but at first glance it seems that it will give good results with all three bulbs, for the number of lumens (350) it should focus at a great distance in the dark. Petzl is guaranteed, that's for sure. As for trekking, everything is very good, very fast shipping and tracking and perfect packaging. Very happy.

I own the predecessor to this model which is still going strong, I only bought another so I could have one for work and one for home. They are great headlamps – light and comfortable to wear, and very bright. I would not hesitate to recommend it.Excellent price and service from Trekinn.

Solid, simple and bright!
24 February 2023

I've been using mine for a few months now. It's so bright and has really crisp, white light. The housing seems burly and I like the simple, push button operation. Easy to adjust headband and I like the reflectivity that it has.

Headlamps should be simple, durable and bright. This ticks all the boxes.Easy to use with gloves.Burly materials, and bright enough for a variety of uses. What's not to love?

The best on the market
2 October 2020

I already had one from many years ago, but these led ones are amazing. The projection of light is exceptional, we have gone out for a run with it several times and with one you already have for the two or three runners, the field of light it covers is very wide and deep. Value for money is the best on the market without a doubt and I say this from experience. Now there are many with large batteries that carry a lot of weight ... well. Very good buy.
