Anyone working at height should own this device along with an energy absorber. The device is easy to use and the lock function is useful for windy conditions, preventing the rope from being blown through the device causing slack in the system and preventing an excessive fall factor. I use this everyday on rope and like most other Petzl products I feel safe knowing that it is well made.
