This is my first harness I’ve purchased. I wanted something more comfortable than gym rentals. It is comfortable. I do decently long gym sessions. It’s light enough I don’t notice it on me when I belay. I do wish I could adjust the legs because when I fall I like my legs pretty tight so I don’t feel like I’m slipping (even though I’m not.) This is a feeling I’ll probably just have to get used to with climbing. The sizing is pretty alright for no adjustable legs. It’s a good price. I have only used this for gym purposes. It definitely suits my needs
Well designed and well made compared to other similar harnesses. The only drawback for me is that the leg loops are not adjustable. For me they are slightly tighter than I'd like but still comfortable. I would suggest trying this harness on first before buying.
I would recommend the Petzl SAMA for anyone who is looking for a little extra comfort and support when climbing. The wider harness combined with the extra padding of the harness makes it a must-have for any serious climber.
This is nice lightweight harness for indoor climbing. Waist sizing seems accurate and it has enough places to clip your gear. The only thing I don’t like is that the leg loops are not adjustable. This can make it tight if you have fat or very muscular legs.
Harness is great! Price was amazing. Service was the best. Al's accidentally charged me for two harnesses and sent the M instead of the L. One call fixed it very quickly. They removed the second charge. Sent me UPS return slip and charged me less for the L harness and waived shipping. A little glitch rectified quickly. Always smart when you can take a problem and turn it around into a win. I will not hesitate at all buying from them in the future. How about lowering Muira Velcro (VS) t0 $99.00? I'd buy two pairs!
So I was putting off buying a harness for months while using my works harness for a while. I wanted to make sure my first harness was not only reliable, but also super comfortable. I used two other harness's as benchmarks when making my choice, the Black Diamond Momentum and Petzl Corax. My favorite part about this is the fit, its super comfortable but maybe a bit awkward because not everyone has a 30" waist and soccer quads. I loved the fact that the leg loops don't have buckles which makes it that much easier to slip on. All you have to do is just tighten around the waist and your good to go. Had this harness for 2 years, it’s held up like a champ in the gym, sport climbing, and loaded up with my rack for long multipitch days. Personally, I like the non-adjustable leg loops because they fit my legs well. I’d recommend trying it on before you buy.
