I've been using a basic old machine for far too long and needed an upgrade. The features like needle threader, drop in bobbin and adjustable tension are fantastic for my eyesight and hands. The machine is sturdy and quiet and took only minutes to thread and explore everything and I'm intermediate at best. I think beginners would find it easy and experienced sewers satisfied with quality and performance. Could have done without the pink but the machine is worth it. Love it!

The machine is sturdy and quiet and took only minutes to thread and explore everything and I'm intermediate at best. I fell in love with this machine as soon as I saw it (I love pink) so finding this ex-display machine was a no brainier for me. Super fast deliver, I ordered on a Sunday, it arrived on the Tuesday. If I didnt see it in the listing, Id never have known it was ex-display, theres nothing to give me any idea it ever was out of the box. Easy to set up even for a beginner like me, who had only ever used a sewing machine once before, easy to use, and Ive thoroughly enjoyed using it since.
This machine is very good quality. There are just enough features to perform most tasks. The threading and bobbin position are very easy to use, and the needle threader is very simple to use - even for me! It isn't too heavy to carry around in case I decide to go for lessons and has a handy proper solid cover which is so much better than the vinyl one I had on my old machine and provides great protection for the machine. I have enjoyed getting back into sewing after many years and found the new experience easy with this great machine. I would also mention that my potential sewing teacher recommended this brand of machine, describing it as 'outstanding'.
Havent actually had time to use it yet, but very impressed with the price and quality of the product.
This is my third Pfaff and, true to form, it comes with an explicit set of directions. Easy to work, thread, stitch selection...iit's a personal favorite. I did downgrade from the machine I've had for 25 years but this unit continues the quality and easy of use I have always had with a Pfaff. I don't do as much sewing as I used to so this machine is perfect for me at this time in my life.
