I got this camera clip to replace the peak design capture clip V2. The clasp is very secure and so much faster that screws found on other camera clips. There is zero to very little play when the plate is clicked into the clip. Plus it does fit on the pgytech onemo backpack, which has very wide straps. It just squishes the shoulder strap a little. Highly recommend!

Used this on a recent hiking and photo odyssey. Fits both of my thinner (Camelbak) and thicker (Lowepro) strapped backpacks. Was very surprised that it held my 5D4 WITH a 100-400 lens without slipping at all. I did have to reverse the 100-400 lens 'tulip' as it did rub on my leg while climbing.All in all, a great camera carrying clip with a lot less bulk than some other brands.

Glad to have found this clip. Was helpful at a recent shoot. I will use it often. Sorry it took so long to come upon it.
So far I'm impressed with this camera clip. It's very well made and it appears to have a few advantages over the similar product made by Peak Design. The Beetle specs indicate that it can be used on a wider strap than the PD product, and since my strap was beyond the specs for the PD product this is a plus. Also the fastening mechanism is very convenient and adjustable without swapping out any parts. In stead of tightening screws, you just use a flip lock. I have tried it with a fairly heavy DSLR and lens, and it worked perfectly. It's a little less expensive than the PD product, but not enough for that to be a factor in my choice. I look forward to using the Beetle for years.
A little difficult to get clamped as the alignment is finicky. But once it's on, its not going anywhere which is what you want. it just takes a little time to get it set.
THIS is the backpacking clip I was looking for. I originally bought the more popular, more expensive version and had it fail (thankfully without the camera on it) on the very first use due to the screws backing off. This clamping mechanism is rock solid, wider (so it fits on more backpacks), and you don't have to worry about it loosening on its own or even being bumped loose.
Perfect service, perfect product. Clip works reliably and as expected, a better alternative to the Peak Design Capture Clip due do support of the Arca-Swiss mounting plate and smoother operation of slide in slide out fitting. The back of the clip where it meets your chest is also shallower and smoother than the Peak Design Capture Clip therefore it doesn't protrude into your chest as much when walking.
The body of the catch is made of thick plastic, it makes the body contact fell uncomfortable when put full frame body with zoom lens, feels like there is a rock between camera and your chest. i have both this one and peak design, when put this on, you can feel the difference immediately.
