My book, Phil’s First Time is a book of poems which are all written by about the love of God and the beauty of being in a relationship that can set your life on course for success. The poems in my book are there to encourage and to inspire and to uplift people to show them that with God, all things are possible. I want to provide hope for people who look at the state of the world and sometimes the state of their own lives and they may become despondent. People who purchase my book and read the poems in my book will always feel encouraged and uplifted. There’s an element to poetry that can unlock people’s imagination to see the possibilities that are within the reach of an open imagination. There’s also a romantic element to telling a story through a poem.
