Good quality kettle from Philips. Works as it should It, has a decent capacity of 1.7L and the 1850W poser heats up the water quick.The design is like other kettles the exterior is made from high quality plastic while the bottom of the interior is stainless still.

The exterior material is good, it's light to carry, easy to wash as the hole is big enough. One little down side was the filter is abit hard to take it out but overall this kettle is simply amazing.

This is a really nice size kettle and very easy to pour with no spills. Its very lightweight and a lovely design. i live the fact that the switch light up when in use. its not the fastest boil but its great for a full kettle and takes less than 5 mins to boil from full.Its great that it turns off automatically when you lift from the stand as this is great for my little one to make tea on his own. The other great thing is the outside of the kettle remains cool to touch. i'm very happy with this and would recommend to my friends and famiy.

Great little kettle. I have back problems which means that I sometimes have spells when I do not sleep well and this little kettle is a lifesaver. It boils fast and in no time at all I’ve got my cup of tea and am back in bed with a good book instead of having to trek downstairs to a cold kitchen. I do not live in a hard water area so cleaning for me is easy. The first time I used it there was a strong unpleasant taste of plastic, but after boiling a couple of times and discarding the water, this disappeared and it is now. Glad I chose it.
This kettle looked smart and blended in with the other appliances in my kitchen. The handle was comfortable to hold and practical to use and water poured easily with no spillages.The kettle was easy to top up with water, as pressing the button on the top of the handle simply opened it up for a refill and I liked this feature. I also found this kettle easy to clean.During the day, depending on when the last boil was, the kettle took between 33 seconds and 2 minutes 8 seconds to reach boil.Each morning, when I first boiled the kettle, it took quite a while to fully boil, I repeatedly timed this as 4 minutes and 52 seconds. This was the only negative point that the kettle had.

The boil for a full kettle (1.7L) takes around 4-5mins and the noise isn’t loud, quite smooth. Once boiled, the kettle is not hot to touch, rather warm and has an easy pour without water dripping or pouring all over. The look itself was my favourite, it’s very modern and slim, not classic or simple looking. The exterior is plastic, with a water level indicator. The bottom of the interior, where the water is heated, is stainless steel. There is a button on the handle that, when pressed, opens the lid to allow for you to pour water in easily.
