How excited can you get over a steam iron? Well, the Phillips 7000 is amazing! My 10 year old Sunbeam hand held steamer went bust so I was looking for another strong(er) hand held steamer. I actually bought another Sunbeam steamer but it was so heavy (with 300ml of water to hold onto) - that I had to return it. The Phillips 7000 has super strong steam function that goes vertically or horizontally. Great for dresses and shirts. In addition it can be used as an iron with its smooth iron plates - great for pants! So you can use it to steam whilst hung up, or you can put it flat on an ironing board and use like a conventional iron (with or without steam). It’s not heavy as the water reservoir is smaller - it can do 2 items before adding more water.

I have recently bought this steamer. It's really excellent. I wear a lot of formal shirts and pants with sophisticated collars and waists. This Philips steamer irons the whole clothes perfectly and is truly a lifesaver in ironing those complicated parts of clothes. It's also perfect for travel or office. It also comes with a glove and a small curtain that you can use during ironing your clothes. Plus, this steamer gives a very fresh feeling to the clothes which is not the case with iron.

Next to useless, a cheap iron works better. However, this is my first and only steamer.I wanted to save time ironing, but this doesn't even iron out wrinkles, only the lightest of all wrinkles. I ended up saving more time ironing and getting far better results.Garments tried on (all cotton):- Dress shirts- Chino pants- Suit Jacket (I found a hotel iron with its steam feature did a better job)And... I can't even return it because of Bing Lee's return policy: an opened box.

Like others have said, the first time I used it, it spat out a heap of white chalky stuff. But I just let it spit out on to a towel and after that it never did it again. This is one is a step up from my base level Phillips steamer and I really like the shape of it for getting into corners. It holds less water than others but I can still get a couple of garments done with each fill. Overall a good buy, especially on sale.
Great for getting the creases out of clothes just before you wear them. Also really great for kids clothes. Not great on really set in creases in linen or cotton. But most things are great. Less cumbersome and easy storage for daily use. But I still use the iron if I have more than 2 items.

It comes with 2 water containers and has 2 modes, it's really easy to use and heats up quickly. It works well in all clothes but thicker garments might take to attempts. It is ideal to take away with you on any trips so overall a winner for me .

I never thought I would get excited about a clothes steamer But I literally couldn’t wait to get this one out of the box. The big thing Benefit for me is the ease of being able to steam things on a hanger rather than trying to have to use the iron. This was literally an out of the box fill up the water compartment and go, there was nothing hard or stressful to have to figure out. Would definitely recommend
This little steamer is great, it's small and light so easy to use. It comes with a little steaming mat to use as well which is great. It's so handy in the mornings I just hang my shirts up and give them a quick steam, it gets all the creases out and freshens the up nicely.It's handy to use around the the house to, I've used it on my curtains to give them a freshen up and get any creases out l.I love that it powers up so quickly, much quicker than having to get out the iron and ironing board
I ve been using this steamer for quite a while. I wanted to try it a bit longer so my overall impressions are:-design and build: very sturdy,well designed and good quality. A bit heavy, makes your arm tired after a while but it's a good exercise-powerful steam: removes wrinkles efficiently- easy to use: just fill the water tankard attach the accessories-versatile: you can use it on a variety of fabrics-water tank capacity is perfect, the smaller one- the water will steam 2 shirts-heating time: quick-it's fairly quiet during operation.
