The kettle is considerably larger than my old 1.7 litre Grundig. The kettle is designed for a right hander; evident when you are trying to fill it up to the 1.7 litre mark. The kettle is minimally warm to the touch even when the water is at 100C. Using the touch-switch is pretty straight forward. Items were delivered 3-4days from date of order. Gotten it during the brand day sale.

Performance:Water taste weird from this kettle. Plastic taste.Delivery terrible. Took 2 weeks of calling & chasing no reply. Finally decided to cancel order then straight away deliver. SPX delivery service is really terrible.

I bought mine about 3 months ago. I wonder why the bottom (part B as per my photo) always built up with "slime like" stain after each boil where u can remove it by some soft sponge brush.Secondly the Part A as per mine picture seems to be very rough as compared to the upper part where is smooth. Does it came this way originally or only after use, im not sure as i didnt verify it before i use it unless i go check those at the department store to verify. But I really dont think the surface should be this rough. The slime at the bottom may be due to the water content. Can Philip or anyone here kindly share your experience if u have one. Thks

Stop boiling at 40 degree

Apparently this is not an uncommon issue, 2 other feedbacks belowThe kettle stops boiling at 40 degree at the first round, need to press boil again 2-3 times to complete a boiling. Complete waste of timeHow do we solve this issue Philips??

Stopped boiling at 40 deg C

Press once for water to boil, It stop boiling at 40 degree C and have to press second time again so that it will boil to 100 degree C. We usually will boil water at least 4 times a day. It happened once in 2 days. I have written to Philip customer service 2 weeks ago via whatsapp, there is no response till date.
