A versatile and well-built appliance for the money.

I brought this on account of my friend's years-long ownership of the same, slightly older model, and it was an easy sell for me because Philips is a relatively good brand that I've owned before. My initial impression was good sturdy construction, plenty of cooking options, great slow-/pressure-cooker combination, and it is easy to clean. It has quite a large vessel to put all the ingredients in, so it will happily cook for an entire family. It comes with a recipe book with plenty of interesting meal ideas like soups, stews, risottos, desserts, jams, and yoghurts. Very flavoursome! I haven't had it for long, but I do foresee it getting loads of use.

What I have not liked about this product is the seal ring has absorbed food smells and I cannot deodorise it (I tried cleaning it in the dishwasher, soaking in bi-carb soda solution to no avail). Also the lid cannot be dismantled for proper cleaning and I think it could be improved. Consequently after 2 years of regular use and despite washing thoroughly after each use the device has an overbearing pungency. I’ve used it for standard meals with chicken or beef. The slow cook option has been disappointing too, with meals not cooked to tender after 9 hours plus. It’s a great looking device but for me, it hasn’t been an outstanding performer.

I received this All in One cooker from a family member who wanted to make my cooking tasks easier, it does that and I have been using it for the past 2 years. It does make cooking fun, creative and easy…..but… like other comments, I too have had a problem with the silicone ring seal which has taken on cooking smells. I always wash my seals, inner pot (this has also taken on the cooking smell) on the same day I use it and I have tried everything to get the smell out of both parts. Because of this I cannot use it for sweet recipes (believe me I have tried). The only thing I can do now after 2 years, is to buy a new seal and pot for sweet recipes.

Expectations Exceeded!
9 February 2023

This appliance exceeded all my expectations. I already have a Philips Airfryer so was confident my multi cooker wouldn’t let me down. I made the Slow Cooked Lamb from the book which came with the cooker. The lamb was so tender and juicy and everyone came back for more. The sauté feature heats quickly and the browning process is quick. I haven’t used the pressure cooker yet and look forward to doing so. This is a fantastic product I bought from Myer ON SALE!!!

Great cooker

This is my third and cheapest multi-cooker. I'm still learning it but it has very rapidly become my favourite. I love the flexibility in sear temperatures and on high this really sears well. I also like the bake function and have whipped up a couple of great desserts. I'm finding this machine unlocks far more quickly after cooking than my others and reaches pressure much faster but lacks the ability to adjust cooking pressure. Improvements to this machine could be a stainless steel inner lid that is dishwasher friendly as well as an easier cooking time adjustment system (what it has works fine but I feel I'm having to press so many buttons whilst adjusting it). This machine isn't perfect but in comparison to my other two (both well known brands and double the price) it's fantastic.

Great cooking companion

I chose this cooker because it has the option (extra purchase) of a stainless steel inner pot and its competitive price. I have used a cheaper brand before and this was a replacement due to a mishap with the other. The Phillips inner non-stick pot is good quality and the steamer shelf sits in the bottom allowing plenty of room for food. I also like and have used the bake function which I did not have in my previous one. I was lucky enough to get a bonus recipe book in addition to the one with the pot and both books are very useful in explaining the range of cooking that this device offers. Initially I found fitting the lid a bit tricky but have mastered that now. The display is a bit difficult to read (probably the lighting in my kitchen). Great so far
3 April 2022

This cooker replaced the well used (Abused) 6-in-1 cooker that died when the power socket broke off internally due to insubstantial moulding strength. Where do I start we,boil spaghetti, pressure cook curries, slow cook Stroganoff, make pasta sauces and soups, etc, etc. To say we put it through its paces is an understatement. So far (We've had it for a month) it has operated as expected. Sure some of the cooking times and prep methods are different to its predecessor but that is to be expected it IS a different brand. It has done everything asked of it with aplomb (and easy cleaning). You can spend $400 on a cooker like this but I do not think it will out-perform the Philips. Do yourself a favour and get one.

This is the smaller of the two units available from Philips and has a couple fewer features than its larger brother...can cook quick slow-cooked meals up to 4L in its built-in non-stick coated cooking vessel. Pressure cooking features handy for softening up tougher veggies etc to assist in the overall cooking. Have used it to makes soups and sauces with barely any mess at all compared to using the stove-top for the same tasks... can be sat on the table and items chopped and added without needing to move around with my wheelchair too much. Super easy to clean afterwards as cooking vessel just lifts out. Pop inside lid off the post and wash/pop them back into the unit... non stick means they don't have to be washed in the dishwasher for mild clean-ups. Impressive All In One Product that delivers everything in one pot!

I just received the new Philips All in One cooker model HD2237 and was very interested to see how this one compares to all the other different Pressure Cookers that I have owned and used throughout my life - from the stove top vented model through to the modern AIO of another brand. I was very interested in the fact that this AIO came with a much higher cooking wattage and with other features that I had not used previously like the baking and yoghurt making functions. I liked the way the pressure cooker was boxed with initial instruction on the first lid flap as you opened it and the fact that they had used recycled cardboard in their packing material which could again be recycled so I thought this was a good move to help the environment. The Instructions, warranty and Recipe book were all visible and sitting on the top when I opened the box. The Recipe Book included was a lovely big glossy book of 147 pages which was visually appealing with clearly outlined recipes that were easy to follow with accompanying photographs of the cooked recipe. I would have liked to have seen more simple typical everyday budget Australian dishes in the Recipe Book. Putting the lid on the AIO the first time was a bit confusing as there were no obvious markings to align the lid which I was used to when using another brand AIO, but after I worked it out I am now a little more familiar with how to successfully align the lid to the base. I really liked the cooking selection menu with the digital press buttons and the ease of programming or changing what you wanted to achieve, and it was easy to master even without reading the step by step instructions so will be easy to master for everyone. The Progression Status Bar for the cooking was something new to me and I really liked this feature as I could easily see where the cooking function was at. One thing I really noticed compared to all the other Pressure Cookers that I have previously used is that it is very quiet during cooking and has very little steam escaping so very little moisture coming out into the environment. I also like the ease in which I could wash the inner bowl and the flat surrounding edges of the AIO, which in another brand of AIO that I have used was a bit narrow and hard to adequately clean. We cooked up our usual Pea and Ham soup, Corned Beef and Beef Stroganoff and these all turned out great when we manually adjusted the timer for our own preferred cooking time, rather than using the Philips AIO default recommended cooking times for meats - which appears to be targeted for tender cuts of meat using lesser time to cook. We prefer to use the cheaper (and therefore tougher) cuts of meat to make tasty but economical meals and so we will need to manually adjust our cooking times in the future to reflect this. I notice many of the Recipes in the book also use the tenderer cuts of meat, so their cooking times may be suitable using the default times provided in the recipe or from the machine. All in all, I am very impressed with the Philips All In One HD3327 and feel that this kitchen appliance will be a must have in all good kitchens! Especially the fact that you can Pressure Cook, Slow Cook, Bake, Steam, Rice cook, and make Yoghurt all in one appliance is going to certainly create appliance envy amongst your friends!!

Terrific All in One

Needed to replace my old NewWave multi-cooker after 10 years due to the non stick pot wearing through at the base & I’m really happy with this Philips cooker. I specifically picked it because of the ceramic coating on the pot which is healthier than nonstick imo. Really impressed with all the extra modes such as yoghurt & bake. It has pre-set cooking times for various dishes but I like that you can also manually adjust the timer too. The keep warm function lasts for 12 hours which is so handy if you work or are busy. I’ve only had it a few weeks & have used it a fair bit to pressure cook rice. So handy to cook in the middle of Perth’s summer & not worry about heating up the house. I look forward to trying a cake in it soon. I’ll also be buying the extra stainless steel pot soon as I like to make bone broths & don’t want to damage the ceramic pot. I’ve already made yoghurt which went well thanks to some helpful advice from the Facebook community group for this device. The only design flaw is the stream release valve which places your hand right next to the air release vent so you either need to wear a kitchen glove or use a tool/utensil to open it so you don’t burn your hand. The electrical cord could be a bit longer too. It’s a solid unit though & is handy if you have a smaller kitchen like me, live in a flat or a caravan. I managed to get mine on sale over Christmas time which was a great bonus as the cost of a good slow cooker, rice cooker, pressure cooker & steamer would cost a lot more than this all in one unit as well as clutter up your kitchen. You can’t go wrong. Two thumbs up.
