I've owned this for 8 months and until now it's been perfect. Never had any cuts or issues with it (maybe motor is a little weak for cutting thicker hairs). Now though it's suddenly stopped working, I tried using sewing machine oil to get the blade moving again but the motor only works for a second until dying. It's a shame as otherwise this would be a perfect product.

Ok, so the product is great the function is fantastic. it works a treat. You can even buy a spare 3mm comb for it. But if you lose the 0.5 mm comb (like i did) then you are stuffed. There are no spares available for this.Mine popped off really easy and promply dissapeared. Never to be seen again. Please Philips make a few extra 0.5mm combs and send me a couple.Full marks if you do this little thing.
The Bodygroom 1000/1100 does it's job very well. Haven't found anything that takes care of my parts the way this one does. However, after a while, the blades dull. The head looks like it is replaceable, but the they don't sell refills. They did send me a brand new unit when I called to see if I could order a replacement head, but that seems wasteful.I recently bought the OneBlade Pro and I find that it works better in most places. Just not around the family jewels. Just received the "Philips Bodygroom series 1000 body groomer BG105/10" and am more than pleased. Tried this out straight away and its so easy to use, it was perfect for down below, used the 3mm and 0.5mm guards and had no problems with pulling or nicks, everything now neat & tidy. the "skin protection system" works a treat, wish they had this on the other Body Groom product, wish this product had more/longer combs for other body areas. Would be great if it was rechargeable and had a travel case/pouch to keep everything safe, but this would put the price up
The product is Good. But surprisingly, I could not locate this product for registration in your website. Why? Is it not your product? How is it possible that your own hot-selling product is not in your list of items in your website for me to Register my bought product? This is ridiculous. So, I have posted my scanned Invoice of the product purchased by me online through Flipkart (W S Retail Services Pvt. Ltd.).But your product is very good.
The overall performance of the product is great. I am very satisfied with my purchase. There is just one negative point which, it is a bit hard to fully clean the corners of the blade.
This trimmer works well for the price. The 1mm adapter is effective but frequently leaves me with razor burn, so I tried using the 3mm . But the 3mm adapter regularly fell off while shaving, and snapped after the 3rd or 4th use. The replacement cost on the Philips website for this skin guard is $15, almost as much as the whole set, so I am hoping to get a replacement
Worked great for a little over a year until the 1/8" comb snapped at the corner. I knew it would be an issue so I was very careful with it when removing the comb to clean the trimmer blades. They no longer make replacement combs for it and the shorter comb trims closer than I'm comfortable with. Not sure why they continue selling a product that doesn't have any replacement parts. Kind of ridiculous that this will end up in a landfill because they can't replace a cheap piece of plastic.
