I bought it in June 2022. Liked that it has adjustable pressure and different nozzles for me to try. Also has a nifty design that allows you to store the nozzle in the water tank. A single charge lasted me quite a while.But then it suddenly decided to die on me. Couldn't turn it on, neither could I charge it. Went to the service centre which was 40 mins away from my house and they offered to send me a replacement unit.The replacement unit was working well for about 3 months before it too decided to die on me. Again, I couldn't turn it on or charge it.Really bad quality for the price I paid.

The product is very easy to use once you get the hang of how it works. Once you know the basic operation, it does make flossing such a simple and more enjoyable task for me than using dental floss. I love that it is cordless, I've using it for a week and battery is holding up. It's simple to fill up and go, it also helps to reach the back and harder to reach areas when using floss/picks. I definitely prefer this Power Flosser than the traditional method! In terms of effectiveness of using this versus floss/picks, via visual inspection it does get all the food residue out but I can't say if it removes more or less plaque. Overall, I think this is a really good product to help make flossing a habit - it's simple, clean and effective.One slight design flaw in my view is the button to release the floss head is on the back, naturally you need to hold the power flosser to press down on the button to release but the power on button is round the front so sometimes I hit this by accident when trying to release and it ejects water unexpectedly. After once or twice, I've learnt to be more carefulto avoid this. It would also be helpful if there are grippy surfaces or grooves on the side similar to electric toothbrushes, it's very smooth which is totally fine when using but found it difficult to grip and rotate the water container when wet. Not a huge problem, have found that I just need to dry it first before rotating to remove the water container.

It is also easy to pack away in a carry bag, telling you that it’s always ready to go out with you. But unfortunately even before it get the chance to travel with me, it has gone malfunction after 2 months of use. The cause was likely that water gets in and corroded the circuit board. Good news is, I contacted Philips warranty and within a week a new one arrived at the door. Bad news is, I start to suspect that there is a design/manufacturing issue that my other one might be dead within 2-3 months. Opened up to find out why. Start from the bottom of the device body, gulp of water dashed out, lower part of the circuit board see heavy oxidation and corrosion, there was sign of water accumulating at the bottom part of the body. Back of buttons were sealed properly, no risk of water ingress, back of USB C port sealed properly, no risk of water ingress, bottom cover has a rubber ring, no sign of water ingress either. The only part without a seal ring seems to be the top part of the body, where the nozzle connects with the body. Water might get in from there during use and accumulate. But all these is only a rough guess through observation.I hope they have updated the design and it would last longer. For now, I would either hang it upside down or sit it side way with button facing up after each use.
