If the colour you select has white in it then you will slowly go crazy with a high pitched whine from the adaptor. It is highly annoying and grating and every one of my lightstrips suffer from it. There is no relief.

Works brilliantly with Homekit, Siri and Google voice assistants. You just say "Turn on the light" and the voice assistant of your choice executes it. It's especially super speedy with Siri, almost freaky fast.It's pricey but it adds a great accent behind TVs, computers etc.
I bought this product last month after having used 3 Hue colour bulbs for more than a year. This was a great addition to my smart home. Easy to install too. Would recommend.
I’ve bought 3 of these. All of them have had problems of some description. They were fixable but I had to get purchase and sacrifice additional extensions to do so. For what they’re worth I was disappointed.Usability and functionality are fantastic though.
These light strips are pretty good. Really nice colours, it's a shame the brightness is lacking in all the hue products, and definitely not a standalone lighting system, I use it in conjunction with something like Leviton omnibus lighting for standard lighting and Philips hue for injecting a bit of mood lighting. Amazing through an RTI control system and Amazon Alexa voice control
I have used Phillips Hue products for quite some time and whilst I will admit the adhesive on the back is not the best, the actual lighting is fantastic! if the adhesive starts to wear away you can just use blue tack underneath, or if it's your own house something more permanent. You can turn a simple little T.V setup into something that looks inviting/ warm and snazzy with some "mood" back lighting.If you need light for a home study/office situation, these are brilliant in lighting up the room helping you stay awake instead of using your mountains of admin documents for pillows.I would recommend angling them away from direct eyesight as they are so bright and could cause you a headache. Adhesive tape cover falls away with the slightest movement. The backing tape itself is less adhesive than chewing gum. The connection for (extender) appears to have been designed by a 4yr old, and the strip is extremely hard to bend.Basically - A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!
The adhesive on the back is low quality, it says it’s flexible but it’s stiffer than other strips I’ve tried. The connectivity process with the bridge was very stressful as I couldn’t connect the two until i plugged in the serial number so your mileage may vary. At least it produces high quality light
