I love Phillips hue products. It’s great to be able to control everything from my phone or connect it up to Alexa and control it through voice commands

I bought it as a replacement for a cheap light that camp with an ornamental lamp. It works perfectly. You do need the Hue Bridge but this is an expansion to a collection of Hue lights I have already and a welcome addition to the house.

The E14 candle globe works well. I have a number of Hue lights and I decided to fit a Hue light to a desk lamp that I had bought from IKEA. The small desk that lamp sits on is in the same room as three other Hue lights. I find that the candle light produces similar light colours to the Hue lamps in two lights that I have on speakers at the front room (although the light colour is different to that produced by a Philips Go light, even when the colours are supposedly synchronised). It takes a surprising amount of time to update these lights to the latest software when they're first fitted but I very much recommend that, not least for network security reasons. Overall I think this is a good product, even if I do think it's rather pricey.
