Bought the bulb for a living room floor lamp and needed to do two things - look good i.e. show filament and two be bright enough without feeling you're under a streetlamp. Does both well. Casts a warm amber type light which makes the room look cozy

It is a great looking LED bulb with vintage style, perfect to accesorise your interior. I have used mine in the kitchen and it works perfectly with industrial style decor. You can control/switch on and off/dimm it easily via HUE app and using Echo Alexa/Google assistant devices with HUE bridge. It is a dimmable bulb, also increases level of security in your house when you turn your lights off when out/on holidays.
I bought a number of these to hang in a very dark bedroom. I really only needed one as it is extremely bright. It looks very effective as well. Works with my Alexa - extremely happy
Provides nice light and works well with my Echo 2nd gen without any other hardware. It was easy to set up. However, there is occasionally an annoying flicker, even at full brightness. So, if the flicker would bother you I would avoid this smart bulb.
Excellent when involved in activities that make it difficult to get up to a wall switch eg various craft activities. Easily adjustable light level using phone.
I bought these to add into my hue base station and to other hue lighting. This bulb fitted my needed exactly which were a warm white dimmer-able light that had a retro look and feel. The advantage of this generation of bulbs is that you don't need the Philips hue bridge as these are able to connect via Bluetooth too which should help more people try it out...
These bulbs are White only, not Cool & Warm White, meaning you can only achieve a warm yellow hue and not the bright White colour...
