DO NOT BUY...Cannot replace batteries

Phillips does not service or replace the batteries in their toothbrushes. So after about 4 years, the battery will die and you will not only have to buy a new one,…you will be contributing more waste in the world. It is not sustainable and it would be easy enough to just replace the batteries and make them last a lifetime. VERY irresponsible. This will effect everyone on the planet. We must do our part to make our world sustinable..

I am a long-time Philips Sonicare user. The DiamondClean model is the fourth I've owned. While the DiamondClean brush cleans teeth effectively, I find it less desirable than my older model Sonicare brushes. It is not as gentle on my gums (sensitive teeth and slight gum recession) compared to other models I have used. Also, the design of this brush allows old toothpaste and gunk to accumulate deep in the bristles. There isn't enough space between the bristles to effectively rinse them thoroughly at the end of each brushing session. The accumulation is unsightly and probably not very hygienic. I have never run into this problem with any of the older models of Sonicare I used, or with manual toothbrushes. I love how well the Diamond toothbrush cleans. However, it's very frustrating every three months when it won't start with ease. I've tried to change the settings and nothing works other than changing the brush. I subscribe to do this, but supply chain issues recently got in the way. The older version never did this. Technology is not always a good thing.

Fake!!! Do not buy these brushheads!!
6 February 2023

These are not genuine brushheads. These are fake copies that try to immitate the real ones. As you can see the plastic/glossy color bristles and the low quality print package that tries to copy the real one. Sorry, Walmart isnt letting me to add photos(always says error)

First of many toothbrushes I will own.
30 May 2017

Starting off this review,I would just like to say that this was the very first electric toothbrush I have purchased. I bought this toothbrush because I was unhappy with my oral health and felt like I needed more than just a regular boring toothbrush. After talking to my dentist, they recommend I try out this exact model toothbrush. I did NOT regret that choice one bit. I really do LOVE my Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush. The fact that it has five different brushing modes I can choose depending on how I am feeling is just the start of how cool this thing is. My toothbrush came with a fancy toothbrush cup that hooks up to the induction charger I was also provided--no messy cables or anything! After using this toothbrush for two weeks I noticed that my teeth began to look whiter and brighter. This product gave me newfound confidence in my smile. I could not have asked for a better toothbrush.Thank you, Sonicare.**If anyone is interested in the color I purchased, it was the Rose Gold model.

GREAT TOOTHBRUSH BUT... Replacement Heads
25 May 2018

This is my 2nd generation Philip Sonicare toothbrush and I am proud to use it my teeth and dentist are too! HOWEVER, it has been a struggle and frustrating task to figure out which replacement head to get. I have the stick on which is better than the screw on. Easier to clean but there is an icon like a diamond on my brush but the number on the battery I thought was to help find the (replacement toothbrush head) is HX 6920. To no avail. Argh!!! I have the "go care" and other options on my brush its wonderful.. So I guess we as customers need to purchase and hope it fits otherwise go thru returning till we do... and all we want is to use your great toothbrushes to have lovely teeth (smile) just saying. I can't believe. . .
19 March 2023

that someone would write this kind of review without considering how it sounds to others, including Phillips. This a crazy world we now live in, and no one, nor company is perfect, and, in any case, one must often take extra steps to resolve an issue with any product or service. Thats just the way life is these days. Personally, this my 3rd Sonicare toothbrush, and when operated properly has delivered exceptional results--just like the other two. I am thrilled with my DiamondClean version, which I purchased when my second Sonicare still had many years of service left. All of my Sonicares have worked perfectly for over 20 years. The only problem I have had was with the "generic" heads NOT made by Sonicare--I won't be buying them any time soon.

PLEASE BRING BACK COMPACT BRUSH HEADS
10 May 2022

The standard brush heads are too big. Sonicare was a great brush a few years ago when I could get the compact brush heads. Please bring back the compact! And why don't you offer an orthodontic brush head like Oral B does?

Saving My Teeth!
17 August 2020

I love this toothbrush! I never thought my teeth could be so clean. I look forward to brushing my teeth. Cleans like you wouldn't believe. I actually look forward to brushing my teeth, lol. It's gentle, powerful, effective, yet easy on your teeth so you don't wreck your teeth. I have severe health issues, diabetes and systemic lupus which can make oral health a real challenge. Since listening to my dentist and getting this toothbrush, I am so much happier that I have cleaner teeth. Call me crazy but I think cleaner teeth give you a little more confidence which effects your life all the way around. I can't say enough. A little more than others but you totally get what you pay for!
