Disappointing

I bought three of the brushes for my kids. First night. They don’t stay on for the appropriate amount of time. The app does not work, will not let me pick a country other than Australia and then tells me there is no support for my product where I live. My kids were so excited about the app calendar and brushed their teeth for 6 minutes trying to get a checkmark for the nightly brushing but never did. The app will not let me give patent approval. The model number on the toothbrush is different from the one on the box it came in. When I tried to start over on it all I got the same results. I could have spent less and saved hours of my time. The only positive is that for one night my kids were excited to brush their teeth.

I cannot recommend this toothbrush highly enough if you have little ones who are unwilling to brush their own teeth. This toothbrush has been an absolute game changer for our son. As there is a visual counter on the app, it is very easy for them to see where they are brushing and how long to brush for. After successfully brushing all teeth, the little Sparklie character unlocks gifts to collect which my son looks forward to every time he brushes. But be warned! If you miss a night, which has happened once while we have been using this toothbrush, your little character will be very sad the next time you open the app and remind you that regular brushing has to be done. The battery life is excellent, we have only charged it once so far. It is perfectly designed with little hands and mouths in mind but the best factor is just how engaged our son has become in brushing his teeth.

Has a few glitches

Purchased two toothbrushes, one for each son. I set the profiles up following identical steps. Son1 always defaults to 1 minute brush time, Son2 always defaults to 2 minutes brushtime. No easy way to set both to 2 minutes. After 10 days brushing Son1 is still at 1 minute despite instructions implying it would adjust.Son1 was synched to ToothbrushA. Son2 was synched to ToothbrushB. Two weeks in, ToothbrushA suddenly synchs itself to Son2… and Son1’s toothbrush won’t synch.I deleted profiles and started again… once again the one son’s brush time defaults to 1Minute while the other defaults to 2 minutes.This is the things toddler tantrums are made of!!!!!

I purchased this toothbrush for my 4-year old daughter, because we were having trouble keeping her teeth, well, clean. I don't know what happened, but suddenly her teeth started looking really stained all the time.Once we started using this toothbrush, we saw an improvement almost immediately. Her teeth looked shiny and clean. I didn't know if she was going to freak out about the vibration, but she was fine with it. And I love that Sonicare adds the little musical alerts when you are supposed to switch sides. I wish someone had told ME that before I started using my Sonicare brush a few years ago. After unintentionally pressing too hard while using this brush, I have serious gum recession--to the point that I've had several dentists tell me that I'll probably need to get a tissue transplant in one area. (Ugh, not looking forward to that...)The point is that, apparently, you are supposed to hold this brush with only three fingers while brushing--that's how little pressure you are supposed to put on your teeth/gums. If your kid is too young to know how much (or how little) pressure to put on her gums while brushing, you are probably going to want to help her.All in all, we really love this brush. It has made a huge difference in my daughter's smile. Plus, has the brush at such a great price, it is definitely worth a try.

The handle features rubberized-grips and is large enough for my three-year-old to grasp and manipulate independently. Performance-wise, this toothbrush boasts the perfect amount of cleaning power. I love that the brush head is able to clean teeth effectively, with little pressure (let the brush do the work!). The bristles are gentle and the brush head size fit a toddler's oral cavity nicely. Because the brush head will vibrate when switched on, I do recommend applying toothpaste and placing the brush inside your child's mouth prior to powering the brush on (otherwise the toothpaste tends to splatter/fall off the brush). I like that the Kids Sonic Electric Toothbrush has two modes, a low/gentle mode for younger children, and a high mode for more advanced/experienced brushers. After only two-weeks with this toothbrush, my daughter is beginning to comprehend appropriate brushing techniques (angling brush head), and is brushing by quadrant when prompted with the interactive video on the app. I love that this brush is helping my daughter learn to brush more independently, with less adult-reliance. Overall, I am highly impressed with the design and performance of the Kids Sonic Electric Toothbrush. My kids are ages 6 and 3 and they love this tooth brush, they couldn't wait to get it out the box and set up. In the box it comes with two tooth brush heads, a large head and a smaller one which was great for my two little kids. They use different brush heads but use the same handle. The only thing I will say is that the size of the handle its self could be a little smaller for kids hands as it's designed for them. On the app you get a little sparkly monster and you can earn little prizes each time you brush your teeth eg food, hair dye and clothes to use on them. Just liked to point out you don't actually have to use the app with the tooth brush, it just makes it more fun for the kids. The tooth brush connect to Bluetooth on your device and when you turn on the tooth brush a mouth will appear on the screen and tells you how and where to brush. My little ones love watching and following along with it. Their are 2 modes a 1 minute and 2 minute mode, we have it one 1 minute while they get use to the brush. The brush makes a little tune when you need to swap sections while brushing so it makes it easy for the kids to know. We have been using this brush for a couple of weeks now and my boys will never moan when I tell them it's time to brush, they even remind me because they are so eager to use it. It's definitely a get brush designed for kids and to help teach them to brush properly and getting them used to an electrical brush. So apart from the handle being abit to big for little hands, the other little negative is that some times when you turn the brush on it won't come up with the monsters mouth straight away, u have to manual connect it, but that's not hard to do it just takes a couple of secs longer each time but my kids can never seem to wait. I would definitely recommend this brush tho and have already to some friends of mine. I just need to get some extra heads for it now

The handle is designed in such a way that it has anti-slip function and it is not easy to drop due to the grip design coupled with the fact that 3/4 of the handle is made from some kind of rubber which in turn helps to protect the handle which is almost unbreakable.When charging the toothbrush, you just have to put the toothbrush onto the charging base once again easy to use and no instruction is required. Once the toothbrush is placed onto the charging base, you will see a flashing light blinking indicating that it is in charging mode and once the toothbrush is charged the blinking stops which is good to know that the toothbrush is fully charged.Personally I feel that one of the setback is when you turn off the power after using the light is still on for about a minute which I think it does not served any purpose however the reason why it was designed this way is because it tends makes you take a second look after you off the power just to ensure that the power is off.It will be ideal if the plug is a three pin plug as I am using this device in Singapore. The two pin plug is probably good for this device in UK but not quite user friendly in Singapore therefore you will have to use an adapter if you need to plug into the socket.Last but not least, this toothbrush is definitely better than the conventional toothbrush as you do not need to use any strength to brush your teeth at the same time, it helps to remove plague and the stain better.

Poor quality

I purchased Philips adult toothbrushes for myself and my sister, but they both broke after only a year and a half of use. I also got two kids' Philips toothbrushes for my children three months before my toothbrush broke, but both of them broke before reaching one year of use. My son switched to a different brand after his Philips toothbrush broke, while my daughter liked the bigger brush head of the Philips toothbrush and got another one. Unfortunately, it also broke after only half a year. After experiencing these issues, our whole family has given up on using Philips toothbrushes. Although the box claims a two-year warranty, it was difficult to find information on how to contact the company for support.

awesome brush for toddler

Our kid was jealous of our electric toothbrushes and he found regular ones boring. We decided to invest into electric one and it was a great choice! It beeps 4x 30 sec which helps kid to decide when to change the brushing area. You can personalize the toothbrush with many stickers that are enclosed with the device. Last, but not least, it is not as heavy as its adult versions. Thanks to this toothbrush, morning and evening routine is not a nightmare anymore. I highly recommend it!
