We've been using Sonicare for 14 years. All of our dental exams improved after switching to sonicare electric brushes BUT We have ordered 3 of these "target exclusives" over the past 16 months and They are all dead. The first one, navy blue, lasted the longest. But the battery failed and it wouldn't charge at all. The pink one had the covering over the power button disintegrate so it would turn itself on and off like it was possessed. The newest one, the teal one, hasn't even lasted two months. The battery needs charged every day. Never again. I love this brand and style over Oral-B, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know if this model has the same problems when purchased at other retailers. But definitely avoid the "target exclusive" labeled ones. I don't ... MoreWe've been using Sonicare for 14 years. Lasts about six months before breaking
26 July 2024

The older version of this toothbrush used to last a few years. It was also more powerful, and had a feature where the brush paused if pressing too hard. This version, however, lasts maybe six months, give or take. Both myself and the other person in the house went through two of these each in a year and year and a half. Issue #1- The rubber that holds the metal wand on the brush body (the piece you stick the brush head on) starts degrading, eventually breaking off, making it so you can’t attach a toothbrush head. Or if you can despite the tearing rubber, be prepared for your brush to get loud. This happened to four brushes, all stored on the counter in the bathroom. Issue #3- the old version of this brush used to have a feature where the brush paused if pressing too hard. Maybe they only offer that now on the more expensive brushes (not sure though, I haven’t looked), but it definitely used to be on this one at this price point. They should bring back the old version of this brush. But unfortunately, it looks like they raised the price while reducing quality as is the sad nature of many products today. I’m reluctant re-buy, having now spent $200 on four brushes for two people in about a year and a half.

New and Not Improved.

I’ve been using this series of toothbrush for a long time. I’ve had two already that both lasted me for several years, which is the best you can ask for with the cheaper end electric toothbrush. However, I have purchased two of these new editions (returning the first assuming it was a fluke) and they are generally terrible. Within a few uses, they have inconsistent vibrations that make crazy sounds and are much louder than the old versions. I am very familiar with the different vibration levels and the pressure sensitivity sound and the sounds my brush is making has nothing to do with them. It’s also an issue that seems to stem from the connection on the brush head and only presents itself when in use. I am considering going through the warranty to try a third one, ... MoreI’ve been using this series of toothbrush for a long time. Quality Problem
21 November 2024

I've been a loyal Sonicare user for decades. LOVE how it cleans my teeth. I recently decided to replace my 12 year old model, which still worked perfectly, with a new 4100. It only lasted 6 months before the power button disintegrated and the unit stopped working properly. Sonicare replaced it under warrantee, but the replacement did the same thing! Lasted 6 months before the power on/off button fell apart and the unit stopped working. Sonicare again replaced it ... so I'm now on my 3rd Sonicare. There is obviously a design flaw with the power on/off button that caused it to disintegrate and the unit then stops working. I'll be curious to see how long this 3rd toothbrush lasts. If it fails like the previous two, I'm switching to a different brand. Buyer beware!

Very good toothbrush
21 November 2024

I brought this for my wife and she was very impressed with this amazing automatic toothbrush. I recommended this to her because I brought the same one in white colour about a month ago and it’s working very well for me. It cleans between my teeth very well. Every time I brush my teeth after dinner, it takes out all the small pieces of food between my teeth and my mouth feels very fresh. Also the toothbrush body surface is smooth and doesn’t attract stain built up. The downside is this toothbrush didn’t come with the wall plug in charge adapter, only usb charger without wall plug in inlet. I used my old usb charger for the wall plug in inlet. I also find the toothbrush head a little small for me even though it works very well removing buildup. [Rewarded Review] Dentist recommended
19 April 2024

I was recommended to get an electric toothbrush by my dentist. I started doing my research and found this one. Being an electric toothbrush newbie, I wanted something good, but I also knew I wanted to be able to determine what I liked and dislike. I really like that a full charge last all week. I haven’t let it completely expire but I charge it every Sunday and the battery is strong all week. I like how sleek it is and how the stand doesn’t take up space. The 2 things that I would like for myself is a bigger brush head. I really enjoyed my REACH manual toothbrush from the dollar tree because i like the size of the brush head and that it came with a charging block. Otherwise I throughly enjoy my toothbrush.

[Rewarded Review] Really like the QuadPacer feature.
21 August 2024

Love the QuadPacer. So helpful that lets me brush all my teeth with equal time. I also like the slim design. My other Phillips toothbrush handle was quite a bit fatter. What I did not like was the light on the brush handle. Light is VERY dim. Can hardly see it. Also since I already had a Philips Sonicare toothbrush that was excellent vibration, pressure( though quite old) etc I felt I did not need the Easy start. When trying to deactivate the green light, amber light feature did not work. So I do not like this feature and I do not know whether it’s on maximum pressure or not. This definitely does not have the vibration of my old Philips Sonicare which is very disappointing.

[Rewarded Review] Wow! Clean, white teeth.
28 August 2024

My dental hygienist recommended I start using an electric toothbrush so after careful research I choose Sonicare. I've been using it for two months now and it is a game changer. Far exceeding my old battery powered toothbrush. The head design allows you to effortlessly reach the back and sides of your teeth that really make your teeth feel cleaner and noticeably whiter. The timer function means I know exactly how long to brush each quadrant and shuts off after the ideal brushing time has elapsed. There's also a indicator to inform you it's time to replace the brush head. The charge lasts me around two weeks and charging time is quick. All that aside, my teeth feel clean, look clean and I think my next dental cleaning should be a breeze.
