I tried first on an un-ironed shirt and it was good for the body of the shirt but around the buttons no good. A previously ironed shirt with a few creases in came out well. T-shirts were the best as they were very quick and easy to get the wrinkles out. Trousers also faired well. Hems that have a curled up crease are awkward to do unless you can lay them flat on a heatproof surface. Instructions say to hang garments so you need to be able to hang near a socket. Cordless would be better. Care needs to be taken when refitting water container as I received a burn when the handle flipped as I was refitting after I had refilled the water tank. I did not use the product for travel but will do so when I next travel.I was given this product to test and review.

The handheld steamer is well made, comfortable, light to use, and heats up quickly.The steam output for such a small and handy steamer is astonishingly powerful.There is nothing that this steamer would not iron. So far, I've ironed clothes (shirts, sweatshirts) and curtains. I was amazed at how well the steamer handled the hanging curtains – it removed all wrinkles.The steamer uses steam, so you don't have to worry about burning the fabric, which could happen with the wrong iron temperature. In addition, e.g. blouses or dresses with frills can be ironed faster and less strenuous.A storage pouch is included. I recommend this product.

It came just in time before my holidays giving me the perfect opportunity to try it out. The steamer is absolutely brilliant for freshening up a garment which has light creases and for getting a garment ready to wear quickly without the annoying hassle of getting out the ironing board. I loved that I could easily fit it into my hand luggage when travelling because it folds up and is very light and compact and comes with a neat little travel bag - while I would never consider bringing an iron when travelling, this is ideal and means I know I can get rid of creases easily and quickly and my garment will look perfect. I've really enjoyed using this handy portable clothes steamer. It gets up to temperature even faster than the instructions suggested 20 minutes & it's pretty light so not tough on my joints even when the water tank is totally full. I've not taken it on any travels so far but the travel bag is a nice touch, meaning I can put everything away tidily in one place with no risk of anything getting lost; the folding handle makes it a more convenient shape to slide into a bag & makes the whole bag compact enough that I'd definitely pop it in my suitcase next time I'm heading away with anything that creases. I found that the water went down more on some items than others so there's probably no point in trying to guess how many items of clothing you can steam per tank, but I gathered a few dozen particularly wrinkly things together for the purpose of testing out the steamer & used less than 2 tanks. As a portable device it definitely gets a lot done quickly & easily.I certainly plan to use this instead of my heavy awkward old iron wherever possible!

When I read the handbook I realised it also killed 99.9% of bacteria which is such a positive especially in the world we live in today. I first tried it out on a couple of maxi dresses I had had in my ironing pile for far too long - initially I thought it was taking a long time so went back to my manual where the instructions were clear and easy to understand and I then started to use the steamer with more ease. Then I took out our evening outfits and tried the steamer to get the old creases out of them and was so impressed - the steamer heats up almost instantly so allows you to use it as soon as possible, and it took out the creases on my dresses, blouses, shirts, shorts & jeans with great effect. It brought my clothes back to life after living in a suitcase for a week! When compared to another steamer I have , this one is the clear winner as it is so much more compact, easy-to-use and heats up within seconds. And when compared to ironing, this steamer is a clear winner for me as I can use it again quickly, easily, anywhere and without the hassle of a big ironing board. The steamer sound as a great gear for quick shirt refresher hoverer, get a bit disappointed at the end. I tested on a few of my shirts (not ironed after wash) and some t-shirts. It was struggling with shirt, but it deals much better with t-shirts. You still need to found a place to hang a shirt / t-shirt to steam, as holding in hand is not the option. I thought it will be easy, but unfortunately is not. I used airier. Will still prefer using iron with steam function instead handled steamer. Clear picture instructions in leaflet also visited website with video instructions, very helpful.Impressed with product, light and easy to use/fill and refill water dispenser. Ready in seconds plus can be used in any room. No ironing board required.First use I was a bit nervous how close to fabric to hold steamer but soon realised the closer the better.Used on my curtains with success.After dog sitting for a few days, steamed all my cushions with an excellent result, no lingering odour.Ideal for a few items before refilling. Regular use, refreshing items and traveling.

I used a cable extension so that the steamer could reach anywhere while being plugged in. I would think that this would be best for travel, hung curtains and sheets.
