Things I learned from owning a Nothing phone for one day:1. It -will- break the laws of physics and slide off perfectly level surfaces to slam on the floor, with a sound designed to produce maximum amount of terror.2. Upon inspection, it won't have a single scratch and will work perfectly (don't try this on purpose, your results may vary). The finish looks and feels so nice, you won't want to have a case on this. But you should. Other than a tendency to fall every chance it gets, everything works great. Migrating from my old phone was a breeze, including SMS and specific app settings, no software required. The OS is bare-bones but bug-free so far, if you don't mind having to install apps for things like music and photo gallery, you'll appreciate the simplicity. ... MoreThings I learned from owning a Nothing phone for one day:1. The display is beutiful, 3rd-party Bluetooth devices connect without issues and the camera isn't perhaps Google Pixel level, but takes more than fine pictures.Overall feels like a premium product at half the price, but somehow more open and customizable than the established brands. If it lasts as many years as my old Xperia, it will be one of the best phones I've owned.

I've been using this phone for a month now and till now i haven't seen any major issues. When I bought there was some issue's with the fingerprint unlock when I tried to unlock the phone as soon as I locked, the phone just freezes for a while, but after the recent update they rectified that. Everything feels premium with this phone for the price. This is for you if you are looking for - Premium Quality Fit and Finish.- Clean Android.- Normal Day to Day use. - Good Screen with High refresh rate.- All day Battery - Looks little Unique. This isn't for you if you want- Great Camara's (Main Camera is good but the Ultra Wide is medicore)- For Gaming (It's good to some extent but not great, there are many other options with extreme performance at this price point)

Using nothing phone 1 since 20 days, I have only official use of phone. It was hanged (abnormal working) after 7 days of useToday again got badly hanged, even it was not powering off.Battery drain to fast (8 am to 2 PM) 40% drain. In camera, watermark shows only date ,not timing of photo, and in video,no water mark available. It's inbuilt call recorder - it only records unknown no., Selected contacts (you can not mark all contacts), also during starting of call regarding it says ,this call is now being recorded.

Andrew's review of NOTHING Phone (1) - 8 + 256 GB, Black
27 March 2023

Pros: The phone feels very well made, the materials and overall build quality is solid. The sound quality from the speakers is solid for the price and gets up to quite loud volumes which doesn't get too distorted at loud volumes. The screen is beautiful and watching shows, movies and general videos is an absolute pleasure. It's high refresh rate screen is satisfying and feels amazing to use. The haptic feedback for typing and also the glyph are both very satisfying. Overall for the price of the phone it's very very good and works very well. Battery life is excellent for the size it is and charges at a good speed too.Cons: I don't at the moment have anything negative to say.

As soon as I saw this phone I liked the look of it. I have always enjoyed the style of the hard edged iPhones, however refuse to pay the prices associated with Apple devices (not to speak of the locked away ecosystem they trap you in), so the design of the phone is great. I also enjoy the 'mechanical' look of the back of this device, I own several watches of similar style where you can see the internals so that was an added plus.Further to this, although it is all clear, it doesn't so far appear to be too much of a finger print magnet. Also as the title describes, this comes with a very light very of android with minimal to no bloat whatsoever.Further to this some of the features that were dubbed premium and left off of other devices close or above in price to ... MoreAs soon as I saw this phone I liked the look of it. Get rough 1.5 to 2 days use before the battery is close to needing to charge, whilst listening to music all day (I work in a call centre and listen to music in my free ear) along with all the other usual social media shenanigans.Best phone I've had to date after the Huawei Pro Pro

Nice phone, great specs, too thick & heavy
23 August 2022

UPDATE: Oof, I just saw that it won't receive an update to Android 13 until 2023. "Timely updates" was a major reason I was considering this phone.I played around with one for 20 minutes. Very smooth GUI experience and quality camera. However, I have hand issues and it's just too thick and heavy for me. And I don't like the square edge design and the rear glyph LEDs are just silly. But it has great specs, efficient processor, near-stock Android, the different memory variants (128/256gb) are priced CORRECTLY and, hopefully, THREE OS UPGRADES (as promised). I hope it sells really well and forces other phone makers to keep pace (looking at you, Moto)
