My cat's litterbox is in my bathroom, which is quite a tight space. This mat is pretty compact, so it's placed right in front of the litterbox like a doormat, and it works perfectly. Doesn't skid, catches most of the litter and it's easy to pour back into the box. My kitten has no issues walking on the raised silicone bumps.
