I'm going to try and return for a refund or exchange because this is not what I expected. The pump is LOUD, I've used Medela swing before and it wasn't this loud. It is also PAINFUL when being used and I have checked multiple times that I'm doing it correctly. Also I didn't realise this pump needed to be plugged in! On the box and all the advertisement shows it unplugged but it needs to be plugged in to use which crushed me. For over $300 this is a rip off. I wouldn't pay $100 for it. So sad.

Great little pump

I bought this one last July before my baby was born and was thinking the pump will be just a back up. But baby got difficulty latching and then I decided that it’s also better for my mental health to start expressing. And then, this pump became my necessity. It’s small but really effective. From the beginning I got same amount of milk compared to the hospital’s monster pump. Suction is strong and the massage mode stimulates milk quickly. But I didn’t realise I got an excellent pump until I purchased another one (which is more expensive). 5-6 times a day for more than 6 months and this little pump is still working well. Not to mention that customer service is excellent. But I found out that the Lansinoh pump parts and Lansinoh milk valve fit perfectly (note that this is only available with wide neck bottle). Hope that pigeon will sell those replacement also.- the breast shield is not really comfortable. Wish it can be improved with the Pigeon Pro version. Other alternative are Lansinoh or Medela- Would be great if battery can be added or time could be shown on the pump

I LOVE this pump!

This pump is amazing! I can’t believe how something so small can be so efficient, and being a double pump too, it definitely saves me a lot of time. I was looking at buying a much bigger, bulkier pump originally & I’m so glad I didn’t now because this little pump is so compact which is far more convenient. I can fit everything (pump, fittings, bottles etc.) into my nappy bag & still have room for everything else, and it’s really simple to assemble too! It’s nice & quiet too which is a bonus as I often have an abundance of milk in the mornings so I can express some before bubs wakes up without waking him or my husband. Absolute game changer for me!

Losing my patience
1 December 2021

I've been using this pump for 2 months now and for the most part it has been good. Lately though it's been driving me crazy! The longer pump mode doesn't work anymore as the little suction cup thing inside no longer fully expands after each retraction. I can only pump in the stimulation mode which is far less effective. To add to the fun the power plug constantly falls out as it's not very secure. I can't see why it would even be designed to unplug considering the pump cannot be used wirelessly. I'll be pumping and next thing it stops because the power cord has come out.Rather annoyed that I've spent several hundred dollars on this and will now have to spend more money buying something that works so I don't lose my mind.

Love the brand
16 June 2021

I previous used a manual pump with my first baby and it was really tiring. So for the second bub I've researched carefully and decided to go with the Pigeon Go Mini since we love the Pigeon bottles so much. Our baby would not take any bottle but the Pigeon so I figured Pigeon must have done something right. I was glad I decided to buy Pigeon pump as it was really easy to use and clean. I highly recommend the Pigeon electric pump and bottles to any first time mums. You won't be changing brand.

Not as portable as it seems!
16 June 2021

I bought this breast pump for my wife who expresses at work. She previously used the Tommy Tippee breast pump which worked fine but was only a single pump. Seeing as our baby only drinks from Pigeon bottles we upgraded to the Go-Mini pump, which had great reviews and awards. When we first received it we used it for a few days before sending it back as it would not hold a charge. Once we got the new and 'not faulty' pump back we realised that it does not hold charge as it does not have a battery! So the pump must always be used either plugged in or plugged in to a portable battery, which is not included. For something called Go-Mini you would think this would be a truly portable device - portability is listed as a key feature on the packaging. The tommy tippee pump unit looks exactly the same but has a battery in it which lasted my wife all day at work. For the much much higher price the pigeon pump gives less functionality. I would not reccomend to anyone unless their baby only uses pigeon bottles and the mother has constant access to an independent power supply! For reference the double pump from Tommy Tippee is $250.We still use the pgieon pump for the reasons above but the need to have a portable battery along with the extrememly high price for the pump itself has certainly soured the whole experience!

Powerful but not so portable
25 March 2022

I was already using pigeon bottles and felt they were of a high quality so I naturally thought the pigeon brand breast pump would be great too. It’s states “portability” as a top feature and whilst it is tiny and lightweight, it’s portability is significantly detracted by the need for it to be plugged in to power. I did stupidly assume it would be rechargeable and it’s my own fault for not checking first (I suppose on reflection the small size of the pump itself should’ve been a giveaway). I do also find that there are a lot of pieces to put together compared to other pumps I’ve used. In saying all of this, the go mini is small but powerful, I switched from hiring a hospital grade pump to using this one and I haven’t noticed a drop in the volume I have been ... MoreI was already using pigeon bottles and felt they were of a high quality so I naturally thought the pigeon brand breast pump would be great too. So disappointed
13 March 2022

I'm so disappointed with this product. I bought this pump three weeks ago, the longer pumping mode didn't work and both suction cups were not fully expands. I've been went to the shop changed the new one. Unfortunately, the new one had the same problem.

Valve disappointment
24 May 2022

I loved this pump for the first 3 weeks of using it however the valves are now torn, decreasing the suction. My baby was born on the 27.4 22 and i have not been using it for long at all, disappointed. The pamphlet in the box said use replacement valves however my box did not come with any. The pamphlet said valves are on website free to replace now i am waiting for someone to get back to me. Need replacement valves asap as my milk supply is reducing dramatically. Please get back to me as i would love to continue using this product.

Very efficient
14 August 2021

Really like the 2 different functions and is so much more efficient then other brands I’ve used. But disappointed that it is not rechargeable. I expected a product with a name like “GoMini” that advertised a lot about being a small and portable device would be rechargeable. But it’s still the best pump I’ve ever used. I get in 10mins what used to take 30mins on other devices.
