I failed to notice that this is not as long as previous ones bought from Bunnings. it's only 200cm and not 210cm high. So there is a gap at the bottom of my sliding door. Otherwise works great, but they only last one summer before falling apart in my experience.

How much do I LOVE this thing!! I bought it for the caravan and it functions like a dream. The magnets are super strong. I actually had to clip up one of the bottom corners up so the little dog can pass through at his leisure. The curtains just want to close together like a Venus fly trap!!! It's got a lovely look and feel and creates an unexpected tranquil ambience as the sun passes through. I'm staying on the windy coast and it's not bothered by the wind at all. Altogether a great buy for a low priced item and will make life in the caravan more pleasant for sure.

I bought this last week and I'm so glad that I did, although it is a bit too short so make sure you measure your door height before buying.I bought this as a makeshift doggy dog as I'm renting and my dogs kept trying to go through the existing screen door, to the point where they knocked the door off it's tracks multiple times. This product works like a charm and always closes behind my dogs when they go in or out.Setup was very easy and as it's all Velcro, taking it down is easy too. I can even take it down during the winter so it doesn't get ruined. I don't even use my screen door anymore.

The good: cheapThe not so good:a terrible to hang correctly - can it even be doneb. uses velcro - needs to include a LOT more that the 6 short lengths for the side (think about adding 4m of it to the kit)c. magnets arent strong enough - wont auto close & blows open easilyd. does not close off the bottom - insects come under due to insufficient weight to hold the bottom down - I needed to add metal tent pegs as weightsI will still have to buy a proper flyscreen sliding door as this does not do the job !
Have bought a few of these from bunnings over the years. The first version I bought was weighted at the bottom and the magnets were bigger and strong and crimped into place. The current versions are... well you get what you pay for. I really wish they would sell a more expensive but much better version, I think it would sell really well. The magnets slip down and are not lined up with each other, eventually they start coming through the material, the lack of weights at the bottom mean it doesn't always close properly. The material is cheap and falls apart fairly quickly. But for $15 it works for a single summer (just). But wasteful on the environment big time.
I bought two to cover my garage entry door and my laundry door a few weeks ago. First it honestly looks like it has been made in someone's backyard: cheap quality hems, and uneven velcro stickers. Like many, I should have realised 200cms is too short. There's a big gap at the bottom making it ALMOST useless. Finally: 90cm is too narrow for a standard door. It's SUPER tight and prone to opening itself with even the slightest breeze. I bought two, and won't be using either now.
This is good enough for what it does. It is not a great product but considering that there aren't any other alternatives out there, it is fit for purpose. The magnets are not "that" strong and they will generally snap together if there is nothing more than a light breeze. But let's face it, that's not how New Zealand weather tends to be so there are going to be times when it will need help for the magnets to alight together. There are other times when the wind is simply too strong that not only are the magnets insufficient to keep it close but the velcro straps are not either. You may have also seen a previous review which states that it is not long enough for some doors: 2m is the height of a standard doorway so if you want to use it for a sliding door then you ... MoreThis is good enough for what it does. You may have also seen a previous review which states that it is not long enough for some doors: 2m is the height of a standard doorway so if you want to use it for a sliding door then you need to purchase 2 of them and then cut/sew them together (as I did). Otherwise, this screen is relatively easy to install and keeps 95% of the bugs out (there are small gaps which I am certain a determined mosquito will find) and it is relatively unobtrusive in appearance that it easily blends into the doorway.
I bought this 3 days ago and it’s absolute rubbish. It’s gone in the bin. Half the stitching on one edge came unravelled straight out of the box and none of the double sided tape stuck for more than one day. On the third day with one tiny bit of breeze the mesh fabric just tore along the edge of the magnets and since none of the double sided tape stayed up along the top of the door it all gaped and then fell down. Absolutely useless. It’s gone in the bin.
It is the worst magnetic flyscreen I have ever bought. Couldn't find the receipt so had now way to ask for a refund. It is so light and curtain can keep straight down, so the magnetic pieces don't work. Have to manually put magnetics together each time. What a piece of rubbish. Bought one from Amazon, it is far more superior.Bunnings should remove such a bad products from its shelf.
We just wanted a flyscreen to put over the back door so the dog could go in and out without letting a bunch of flies in.We opened it up and it uses Velcro pads, backed with sticky stuff, to stick to a door frame. We stuck it up the velcro barely works. The magnets weren't aligning at all so it wouldn't even close correctly. We measured properly with a tape measure and had cleaned all areas properly before installation.Within 10 minutes of installation, the top Velcro strip that holds it all on had detached and the whole thing was falling down. It lost the adhesive stickiness within 5 minutes of being opened - absolutely woeful, it was only up for 20 minutes before it ended up in the bin.
