Three weeks old. Wire corroding with rusty stripes running down. Does not fit standard architrave as it is thicker then the usual fly screens. The lock is too close to the edge hence if you want to use security lock it is too large to turn freely. The lock is positioned so that the architrave needed to be altered to accommodate it. Spend the extra money. Cheap junk.

Bad design

Bought this for a front door but could not fit it. The handle is a strange height meaning modifications necessary with existing door handle. Then discovered that the middle of the screen door sticks out from the door frame by an extra 5 mm meaning the strike plate could not be fitted.Thankfully we did not fit the door but just checked it out for size first. Beware of the depth dimensions!!!We will be returning this product!

DO NOT BUY THESE DOORS!

These doors are complete rubbish. Read the reviews others have left. I have had the exact same trouble. Doors rust out after less than 1 1/2 years and the lock mechanism will fail so you can't fully open it and it snags on the door latch. Bunnings you need to remove these off your stock list and refund people that have purchased these. I am sure that Consumer Affairs will agree that a screen door is meant to last longer than this!If you have purchased these in the last 12 months return them now before the warranty period finishes! NOT HAPPY JAN!

Do not recommend - bowed (all of them)
9 April 2023

At first we thought it was the door frame but the door is bowed on both sides, you can see by eye looking along both edges. We returned the door hoping it was a one-off, but Bunnings allowed us to open another one and it was exactly the same. We then inspected a different door model by the same brand and that too was warped.Bunnings were very helpful and made the return and refund very easy, but if you are after a straight door I can not recommend this brand.

Flimsy. Avoid

Bought the door to essentially keep out flys as we didn’t need it for security so went for the cheapest ones.Dog ran straight through the mesh after 1 week.Suggest spend a couple of hundred bucks more if you want it to last or not have to replace.

Looks good, good price, but hard to install.
11 April 2020

Bought as a replacement for a very old screen door. Pleased with the look but very difficult to install. Doors can be tricky but this was extremely difficult:The outside of the packaging states that 'hinge fasteners not included' so much extra time wasted in store as staff tried to help - they were terrific. Screws (30mm) for the door jamb were actually in the packaging and the hinges are welded to the door, so packaging is incorrect.Lockbox securing screws provided did not 'pull up' and tighten. Did not act as self-tappers. On close inspection the exploded diagram shows these screws going into small U-shaped backing plates. These were not provided nor fitted to the lockbox. Had to make these myself. Very fiddly to fit.The axle for the lock would not pass ... MoreBought as a replacement for a very old screen door. Pleased with the look but very difficult to install. Had to make these myself. Very fiddly to fit.The axle for the lock would not pass through the lock. Tried lubrication and endless wiggling. Must be poorly machined, either axle or the lock. Fortunately had the old door lock's axle and I substituted it for the provided one. Lock quality overall seems poor.Because there are two openings (tongue and lock are separate) in the one striker plate, this design means that there is a vertical tolerance of no more than 1 – 1.5mm. This is ridiculous. Fitting this without a template or some sort of guide was an absolute nightmare. A professional as distinct from DIYer might have done it more easily but…

My dog ran straight through it unharmed
22 March 2023

I bought this over a year ago. Initially it looks fine, strong and sturdy. Until 2 days ago when my medium size dog was chased by a bigger dog and ran straight through the metal screen, only then I realised how poor is this door. Absolutely useless!

Poor design, bad fit
18 October 2022

The door is too thick at the lock! The actual door fits the door frame but where the lock is it is +5mm thicker! This means the door will bow and the strike plate cannot be fitted correctly.Really not happy with this product and will be returning it!

Rubbish door 10mm out of square.
11 January 2022

Wasted half a day trying to make this fit assuming that it was actually square. Only to find that measured corner to corner it was out by 10mm enough to make it not fit at all when you are dealing with a 5mm tolerance.Crap product. WIsh I could give it less than one star.

TERRIBLE
8 August 2022

GARBAGE! Wish I'd read the reviews and saved hours of my time. First door badly out of square, bowed on both sides, larger than specified dimensions - wouldn't fit or work. Returned it and tried another. Even worse in square, bowed the other way to the first and this time grossly undersize. Trash product. Wish I could get my time back. NEVER buy this! Also, every other one of the shelf was badly damaged in their packaging.
