It's exactly what it claims to be.Sturdy once constructed, can be a pain to put together solo, but perfectly doable. You can't move the centre shelf, as it's structural to the design. Didn't bother me, as its a good height, but might for others. The rubber feet seem to come mangled in every pack, just sit them out in the sun, or toss them in a pot of hot water for 10 seconds and you can re-mould them to fit.

Bought three of these shelves 2 weeks ago. Foiund them very easy to assemble - strong and solid holding all my stuff in the garage. Better than I expected and only need a rubber mallet to assemble. Also very well priced - good value. MDF shelves come in raw state so I did give them a coat of varnish to make it easier to wipe of dust, avoid stains etc.

Reasonably easy to put together and very sturdy. However someone accidentally pushed mine from the side and the legs bent. I was quoted $34 a leg ($136 for all 4) when the whole unit costs $120! Any business not willing to sell parts at a reasonable price is only contributing to an environmental disaster.

"No nuts or bolts required". No it's not a good idea. When you try to move it the thing will fall apart if you try and lift it. Gravity and the downwards weight of the shelves holds it together. You'll need to buy nuts and bolts, drill some holes and bolt it up to turn it into real shelves.
Having relocated from Melbourne's SW suburbs to Adelaide's SW suburbs in December 2020, which involved a substantive downsize, particularly of storage space (e.g., oversized double garage to a carport) I have opted to have 4 x Pinnacle Adjustable Shelving units ( 2 x 1500mm wide and 2 x 1200mm wide) in BR3 / which will be my study.Very tidy, aesthetically pleasing, and structurally sound ... whilst I had a flat-pack assembler put together for me, once he's completed the 1st unit he said it was pretty straight forward ... though do take care in ensuring that the shelves are level, and, if the units are adjacent to one another that the shelving height across units is uniform. As I am renting my new abode, I've not been positioned to fasten to the wall as ... MoreHaving relocated from Melbourne's SW suburbs to Adelaide's SW suburbs in December 2020, which involved a substantive downsize, particularly of storage space (e.g., oversized double garage to a carport) I have opted to have 4 x Pinnacle Adjustable Shelving units ( 2 x 1500mm wide and 2 x 1200mm wide) in BR3 / which will be my study.Very tidy, aesthetically pleasing, and structurally sound ... whilst I had a flat-pack assembler put together for me, once he's completed the 1st unit he said it was pretty straight forward ... though do take care in ensuring that the shelves are level, and, if the units are adjacent to one another that the shelving height across units is uniform. As I am renting my new abode, I've not been positioned to fasten to the wall as recommended, so will need to ensure that I am disciplined about putting lighter items on the upper shelves and heavier items on the lower ones. Now I am positioned to finish unpacking and make this house my home.
I bought these quite some time ago. It says that they are rated at 200kg per shelf...I just cant believe that, i don't know how they can claim that or how they determine that.I wouldn't trust anything near that weight on these shelves.I find you can buy a commercial shelving system near this price that are rated at 200kg per shelf and they are a lot stronger than these.I wished Id seen the commercial ones before i saw these .. as these are such poor quality compared to others with the same weight rating. One part of the shelving unit that i have has buckled so i had to reinforce it.If one bumps into it with a slight amount of force it potentially could buckle the frame.I don't trust the strength of mine which i have in the garage, so i will eventually ... MoreI bought these quite some time ago. For just a little more you can buy heavy duty commercial shelving which is far stronger and superior to these cheaply designed and built shelves.I'm very disappointed with these, especially at that price since the quality is so poor. They are way overpriced i think for their quality they are.I wish i could take them back for a refund, but its been sometime since i bought them...I rated them 1 star yet i think they do not deserve even that..
How good is this shelving? Excellent! That is how good! Easy to assemble (I did it single handedly). Extremely strong. Just the ticket!
A strong sturdy shelf at a budget price. Easy to put together. Versatile, I have the same unit divided into 2 sections as a work bench in the garage for my messy craft projects. This one has been put together as the 5 tier shelf and is the perfect size for storage of our 10 person tent and other camping gear.
Waste of money. if you put it together at the full height with the centre bar in exactly centre it’s wobbly and unsafe. If you make two benches out of it one of them is not going to be sturdy at all where as the other will be half sturdy. Normally everything I get at Bunnings is great but this one was a disappointment.
my parents got this shelving unit because our original one broke. my parents are aged 50+ and this took way longer then it should of and WAY TO DIFFICULT to put together. overall the shelving unit is a basic unit but I feel that this is over priced. this should be at least $80-$90 australian dollars. was not worth all the cuffel and I could of gotten something way better for a cheaper price and better assessability.
