Disappointed with this purchase. It’s very expensive for what it is with limited, over-bearing effects that are hard to control with any precision. I bought it to supplement the effects on a Denon X1800 (which I were average compared to Traktor) but I’ve not used it in the mix once.The beats section uses harsh sounds which again are hard to control and can only be used one at a time.On the positive side it’s well built, matches BPM quickly and accurately and pretty straightforward to use once it’s set up, but I’d save your money.

Finally bit the bullet!

For years I've been looking at the RMX 500 and 1000 but have always talked myself out of buying one because I absolutely refuse to go digital when it comes to music! I simply love vinyl too much, it's how I started as a DJ and I will not change.All I can say is that it's been the best purchase of the year. This piece of kit is amazingly accurate and on point with records which enables live remixes, an abundance of effects, ups, downs, intros, autros. . . . All seamless and endless possibilities. . . .Let the ears of your listeners be your canvas!

Great product

I did quite a bit of research before deciding on this. It is excellent, easy to use all the features and setup your own samples. I did have an issue getting a memory card to work with it until I realised it needed to be reformatted to FAT32 which is easy to do. Delivery was quicker than I expected.

Fabulous piece of Kit from Pioneer. Can do so so much and i have just scratched the surface. Works brilliantly with Ableton too.

In short - Awesome

This is a phenomenal piece of kit. The effects are really powerful and it does seem to work best when set up with the mixer on the send and return but also works well on the master output, although sometimes the effects can be a bit overbearing.The x pad on it is awesome and it totally has my 6 year old son belting out some beats - in sync with the tunes - all in all, some great kit.

Although I’ve only just got it, I’m loving it. Still don’t know to much just pretty much messing around to see what it can do. But it’s definitely a fantastic bit of kit, that I would recommend anyone thinking of getting to get.

Love the isolator section and the large knobs.The sampling section needs practice and should be much better covered in the manual I hate the mini knob for the volume on the bottom left.The effects are mostly echo-based. In that respect theyre nice. But no flanger, no much filtering, and instead too many noise-related effects (pretty much useless for me). I wish I could choose other effects via software, but this is not the case.

quality item with room for improvement

very cool item we have here from pioneer with an allround good feel, solid build quality as expected from the leaders of dj technology. It has a plethora of amazing quantized echo effects various ways of parameter control and customizability via pc. The capability of using with vst inclusion is cool and very handy for brigeing dj performance with the studio work. If you have the cash go for it.

Another fantastic product from pioneer thats hard not to get the creativityflowing from the moment its switched on .Very well built and great design theRmx creates results that are endless with the option to customize to your ownneeds ...Put the Rmx together with the Djm2000 that has all the good bits from theEfx1000 ,Djm800 and its one hell of a creative suite .... Not forgetting theunreal vst for use with ableton / logic ... Very well done pioneer
