The Good: Paid $128, open box. Well build, very handsome looking amp. BT good quality, good quality receiver. Nice remote. Sound quality expected at the price point. Clean, tight bass, bright but bearable highs, decent stereo stage. The Bad: Almost no sound until volume turn past the half way. Would be nice to have HDMI pass-thru, or some digital input. Not recommended as a main stereo due to low power output and lack of video in/out operation, but perfect as a secondary system. Make sure is that what you looking for.

I have this reciever hooked up to a pair of Bose 201 Vs and it's louder and clearer than I need it to be! I use it for outside purposes at out trailer and can have a block party with this set up. This reciever paired with the right speakers and woofer is a fantastic and affordable bargain!

very nice looking, easy to operate. Sound Quality is very good for an economy receiver. Bluetooth feature paired up with my phone with no issues.the fact you can hook up a powered subwoofer to this receiver really adds to it's value. I hooked up a 10'' sub to this with 4 bookshelf speakers. The sound was great! If you are looking for a old school type stereo with a couple of modern features thrown in, You might want to give this a look.
The discrete power amplifier section provides a very musical sound. Direct mode eliminates the grungy sound of tone controls. As expected with refurbished items, there is always a problem of one sort or another. The wrong remote control was included with the receiver. The one year warranty covers sending me the correct remote control. The refurbished Pioneer SX-10ae receiver is well worth the purchase price.

The SX-10AE bluetooth stereo receiver /amplifier I purchased from Myer is everything I expected and more I am absolutely wrapped with this amp it's main requirement was for me to enjoy playing my records on my turntable with an excellent sound which it does! The added bonus of having bluetooth is great aswell as I can listen to YouTube and streaming music through my old school Pioneer speakers which complement my new amplifierI also like to add the packaging was safe and sound very impressedThankyou Myer

I think I've made the right choice. Sound quality is amazing, try it with flac or CD or similar no-loss audio files. Bass is satisfactory but if you're not happy with it you can always add a powered sub-woofer, 100W, 200W or 400W whatever. One final note, some complain about the level of the knob not producing enough power even at 30 or 40. That's how good quality amplifiers behave! i never write reviews but wanted to share about this receiver. I had an older Marantz receiver powering two towers. This receiver powers them both super well and the sound clarity is pure! The bluetooth capability is amazing as it hooks up to my phone and i can play songs seamlessly. For the price and simplicity this receiver is the one to go with!
