Put simply. If you have experience with rekordbox and don’t have the need for an RX2/3. This is great. Super practical. Using a USB is easy. I wouldn’t really recommend this for someone just starting out I think using a laptop simplifies the starting process. But for someone with experience who is planning from stepping away and doing more gigs it’s amazing and practical. Also is incredibly light which is super amazing.

Overall:This was perfect for me as I began to learn how to mix. It has all the basic filters and feathered but it’s a great price as an XDJ product. It comes with the rekordbox software which was great because I definitely didn’t want to spend more on the software itself. You do not need to use a laptop with this controller as it has the USB slots that you can insert. You will use the software to sync your music into the USB, however organized you would like it. I love it, it was a great price and had everything I needed to use as a bar controller as well to connect speakers and everything.

I had to switch to this after my previous controller broke down (DDJ-SR2). If I was to compare this to the SR2 Id say its a downgrade on certain aspects like the jog wheels dont light up and theres no sampler pads and rekordbox proved to be more complicated than Serato which Im used to.There are good points however, there is a screen on the controller which can load and select tracks to the relevant deck. It is a CDJ which is nice and you can plug a usb 2.0 into it directly and play, however the usb 3.0 types have to be formatted for them to work, which in itself is annoying.Id recommend this if Rekordbox and CDJs are what you are used to.
This item has got it all. Great value for money and has lots of features you'd find on a more expensive controller. Being an all in one makes it playable straight out of the box along with the 2 usb ports on top. Easy to read screen with a layout that resembles a nightclub setup.
A great quality product. Love the fact there’s a choice of being able to use rekordbox to que my songs with and only a USB for when I’m playing out. Fits in nicely in small spaces and have not had any issues with the controller itself so far.The only downside is that I wished the website description would have mentioned that it doesn’t come with a UK plug or English instructions (it’s a European one but they do include an UK adapter with it). And the cable that comes with seems to be flimsy (I’ve had it for about a month and already, the power seems to not turn on unless I have the cable straightened and facing a certain way).

I bought this controller because it has everything it needs for a standalone DJ controller. The knobs and faders are smooth and feels great! It's a solid DJ controller that will last years without any problems! Def. Recommend for any DJ
This set up is amazing for anyone starting out but wanting to make sure their kit lasts them a while. It's a slight step up from using a mixer with a laptop but this set up can also be used with a laptop if you wish. I have some previous DJing experience so I found these really easy to use and there are plenty of great tutorials out there.
