I love the way this box is set up. I put all my smaller lures in the small boxes so when I go small stream fishing I can put them in my vest. The two doors on top I use for my pliers and glow in the dark lures and the other side I put the lures I've been working with. You don't have to keep getting the boxes out. When you open the top up there is plenty of room to organize all your small packages on the right and bigger things on the left. It will hold eerything you need.

Plano will not answer any calls or emails (over 6 weeks of trying). The absolute worst, no customer service at all. The polycarbonate latches break off the doors and Plano will not even let me buy replacement parts. Will not buy any more Plano products. Ever. I have used their boxes and organizers for over 25 years. Their quality of products and product support are terrible. All of their larger boxes have these plastic tab latches. All will break off, especially when it is cold.

Best alrounder model I found. This brand I have used for decades to store items for industrial applications as they do not bleed products between compartments. We have never had an issue and have some that are 20 years old. So for a fishing product was happy to see the brandname, No doubt not made in USA and China as everything seems to be.NOTE! Check when buying as people steal the small removalble cases from the door on the righthand front compartment.
It's a fairly simple design but it works really well. The plastic seems pretty durable and I haven't had any issues with it since purchase 6 months ago. The only this that would make it easier to move around when it is fully loaded is a shoulder strap.

Happy with purchase, we actually bought it as sewing box for my wife. It works well for that purpose. A bit on the expensive side but hopefully will last a long time.
I bought this box to consolidate a wide variety of containers ranging from a 30 year old three tray tackle box to an odd assortment of plastic boxes and fanny packs. The collection sort of grew over time as retirement brought more time to fish. I got tired of grabbing the wrong container whenever I wanted to change bait or repair a break. My son has a Plano Rack System and it was pretty clear on a recent trip that he was just a lot more efficient than I was. Think hard about the appropriate size box. If this seems the right size I think you will like the lay out because it accommodates a wide range of gear. (Repacking the tackle into the new box also helped me eliminate a lot of junk.)
I have an extensive collection of firearms and have had a problem over the years keeping my cleaning brushes, mops, swabs etc. separated. I got this box several years ago for a birthday present and it is just what the doctor ordered. I was able to consolidate several smaller kits and combine them into one. The top lets me store all my cleaning rods, patches, oils and solvents. The drawers keep all the other things separated by caliber/gage.This is a great multi-purpose box and for me well worth the money.
Perfect size for any fishing adventure. has ample space and trays to carry all your tackle. the storage boxes allow you to have lures, hooks and sinkers separated and ready to use. the section in the lid has ample space for items such as gloves, wipes, knives, pliers etc.even when full the weight is good and comfortable to carry.
