Vegan or not, all are welcome. I am the furthest thing from vegan as possible so this is not an expert opinion. I do however have a “masters” in eating lollies, chocolate etc. When I read plant based a shiver went down my spine, but my wife (oh wise one) informed me it only means they will have used agar agar (derived from seaweed), instead of gelatine to set the jellies. That still didn’t excite but the taste test did. Like an excerpt from Red Riding Hood, not soft, not too hard, juuuust right. Chewy without sticking to your gums. The shapes match the flavours, orange, apple, lemon, strawberry and cherry. The flavours are representative of the fruit and have a nice zing about them. $2. 75 for 180gms which I think was approx 40 jellies (roughly 7 cents per jelly) so ... MoreVegan or not, all are welcome. Not for me. I rarely eat lollies, I frankly don't see the attraction, chocolate is more the treat of choice for me. These jellies are quite sweet which is to be expected. The packaging states " sink your teeth into a delightful mix of flavoured jellies", and that's where a good portion stays, stuck to your teeth, an unpleasant feeling. No artificial colours or flavours, but didn't taste natural to me, a tad odd I'd say. Plant based, suitable for vegans, 1 star health rating and made in Australia from at least 97% Australian ingredients. Children would love them I'm sure. They had a long shelf life best before 21 August 2024. Thanks to Woolworths and bunch for the chance to sample but I wouldn't purchase again or recommend.

Odd texture nice but mild flavour. It was difficult to find these as a number of Woolies didn’t have it, then when I did find it - the packet was right on the top shelf hard to find. So once I found them I was a little dubious about trying them but who doesn’t love sugar hey!Well I opened the packet and the jellies had a lovely aroma in the packet so I tucked into each of the flavours! The flavour of them was quite nice but not very strong as I like lollies to be flavourful! Actually I like everything I eat to be flavourful!!The fruit flavours were almost true to each of the fruits however they had an odd flavour that I think must be a preservative… not sureNow for the texture - very odd indeed! I think if I was eating a Vegan diet then I would probably be used to this but for a person that usually eats lollies with gelatin in them I didn’t enjoy it. When you chew into each jelly your teeth sink right into them and then get stuck! Usually you chew and chew and chewy lollies don’t get all stuck in your teeth but these do which I really didn’t enjoy. As a final comment - I think if I was Vegan I would probably ignore the odd texture and be grateful that there are lollies that I can eat! The flavour is quite nice and there is a good variety of flavours. All in all I probably won’t buy these again unless I buy them for my niece who is in fact Vegan so that she has something sweet when she comes to visit!Thank you so much Bunch as always for this sample!!

Nice Jellies. On the initial first sight of these jellies, they looked really good, a good sized amount in packet. Each one was made into a small sized jellie and shaped accordingly to represent each fruit included in packet. I thought they were nice tasting, just enough sweetness and slightly sour, but was disappointing that each one was basically the same flavour, would have preferred them to be the flavour according to the fruit they represent. They were a good texture, nice and soft, but tended to stick to tenth, the more you chewed on them. No artificial colours or flavours, plant based, suitable for vegans, gelatine free, health star rating of one, made in Australia from at least 97% ingredients, $2. 75 per packet. Not The Best Of Jellies. The Plantitude Jellies were in the shape of an apple, watermelon, strawberry, lemon, orange and cherry. There are a couple of shapes missing in the photo because I tried them. The jellies were too soft and had a much more sticky texture than normal jellies and was annoying because they stuck so much to the teeth. The flavours were hard to distinguish except for the lemon one. I actually thought that they all tasted the same and were very tarty and sour. Eating them reminded me of when you give a baby a lemon and they make funny faces. I didn't have a mirror but I think I had that same look. Also they left an unusal aftertaste that lasted a while. If you like sour lollies then maybe these are for you. Thank you Bunch but they won't be a ... MoreNot The Best Of Jellies. What a surprise! These jellies are really great, at least 97% Australian ingredients and no gelatine. They are cute fruit shapes, pleasant colours, which absolutely do taste of the fruit they’re supposed to be. The only one which I found didn’t have much flavour was the orange one, with the green apple and cherry being particularly good. The blend of sharp and sweet was just about right for my taste, and they’ve got exactly the right amount of chewiness. I hadn’t intended to collect this sample today, but needed to go out to the post office, so popped into Woolies on the way. Why do I mention that? Because by five this afternoon, when I went to add them to my shopping list, they show as unavailable. At nine this morning there was a box full, it was marked as a new ... MoreWhat a surprise! Vegan Lollies. This is the first time my family and I have tried vegan lollies and I must say these lollies weren't a hit with us. They were a bit hard on the teeth and the flavour wasn't as nice as regular lollies. I guess if you're looking for vegan lollies these might be a hit with you but as mentioned above this is the first time trying vegan lollies so not sure what they're supposed to taste like. There was a nice variety of flavours in the packet which is always good to see and some were better than others. Trying to find these in the supermarket was a bit tricky but we did find them right on the top shelf but towards the end of the aisle with other sugar free/ vegan lollies but they only stocked a few. These lollies are reasonably priced at $2. 75 a packet ... MoreVegan Lollies. This is the first time my family and I have tried vegan lollies and I must say these lollies weren't a hit with us. Do I recommend this to others.. give it a try you may like. Thanks Bunch and Woolies for my sample!
Interesting flavours. I don't think i could identify which lolly was each flavour. Perhaps it was "watermelon" that didn't appear to have a corresponding shape in the mix. But other than that it was a good blend in its own right that didn't necessarily copy or mimic any other packets of sweets I'd encountered before. They were good to chomp into without anything unusual or unpleasant about that experience in terms of the texture or consistency. The best way i can explain that is it could be contrasted with a demonstration product from the ice-cream section that was being offered up at Woolworths recently and that had a nice inside part but the coating around it was very off putting and not nice to bite through. I use the comparison because i don't have the capacity ... MoreInteresting flavours. I don't think i could identify which lolly was each flavour. Chewy and sticky. So I have an extremely sweet tooth and was excited to try these considering they are plant based. I love the colour of the bag they are in it makes them easy to find on the shelf and it has a small window in it so you are able to see the contents. The only disappointing thing is that the packet is not recyclable. Opening the packet there is a slight fruity smell and the jubes are soft and it is cute that they are shaped like the fruit that they are flavoured in. Little cherries and oranges and lemons and strawberries. The jubes themselves are very soft and very chewy so much so they stick to your teeth. I would say they are ok but I would not buy them again but I appreciated the opportunity to try them. Thank you Bunch. B
Appreciating the flavour complexity. I find gummy or jelly type lollies a little too sickly sweet for my palate and I expected Plantitude Vegan Friendly Jellies to be the same. Thankfully they weren't. I was pleasantly surprised that the flavours (lemon, orange, strawberry, cherry, apple and watermelon) were sweet, tart and sour. I found this flavour complexity far more enjoyable than other gummy or jelly type lolly brands. As the Plantitude Vegan Friendly Jellies are plant based, meaning they don't contain animal derived gelatine, the chew was a little different to other gummy or jelly type lollies. I don't mind this at all, others might. Overall the Plantitude Vegan Friendly Jellies were a delight to eat and will be my go to for my gummy or jelly type lolly ... MoreAppreciating the flavour complexity.
