Very fun game, lots of character choice. Lovely surroundings, great graphics. 11 year old is very happy as is his 6 year old sister. Challenging but not too hard. Ideal. Sadly isnt multiplayer though.

Great graphics, very much an upgrade from the app. My 8 year old son asked for this game for months, we got it and he hasn't stopped playing with it yet. Adult help was needed in the beginning because he couldn't figure out what to do. But it just like any other ps4 game with missions, free play, multiplayer use etc. The whole family can play together.

We play this game alot as a family online via PS, but my Son wanted to play it on his Switch too when he's bored in college as he enjoys it. Theres a campaign mode where you can play alone & I'm not sure about multi platform compatibility for gaming together, we haven't tried that yet. But you can play online in a multiplayer lobby if you connect the console to a good data connection while out & about or while home. The graphics are good on a normal Switch/Lite, not much different to the PS tbh.Games modes are things like "Defend a mark" & "Capture zones A/B/C/D" think old CoD modes but zombies & plants.

This game is sort of like first person shooter in a way. Lots of action going on. Great for kids and adults. You can play with a friend or buy a Game Pass and play with people online. You dont need a Game Pass to play alone or with someone in the room.
Lots of new content! This game is definitely worth the money! Maybe a little more, but this game honestly has hours and hours of new challenges. Online gameplay is about the same which can get a bit repetitive but, still fun because of the new maps and characters but, the side quests is where this game shines! So much fun!
Considering the Nintendo Switch is one of the best multiplayer consoles available, EA have NOT included split screen multiplayer mode in Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville for Switch! This is a BIG let down as you can not play the game with a friend on your TV. The ONLY way to play 2 player is with 2 games, 2 consoles, and both players using the Switch's small screens. AVOID this game!!!
I bought my 5 year old son several PS4 and Nintendo Switch games for Christmas and this one is by far his favorite. I didn’t realize that you needed internet/a PS4 account to play the game. Luckily all that was easy to set up and he was on his way. The game is super easy to play (if a 5 year old can do it, anyone can). It’s a really colorful and well detailed game. I love it and so does my son. Very happy with my purchase.
Pros: The game is better than I expected and seems to be the best verison on Switch.Cons: The game should bring back character variants for better replay value.
Been playing PVZ garden warfare since day one and have played all of them. This is the worst of all three so far. The play mechanics are broken, sloppy and a joke. You can tell they brought in a new team of probably cheaper devs that had no experience with this game. Please stay away from this garbage game, people here who are leaving this 5 stars are clueless and have no idea what they are saying.
Really fun!!! Took me a few plays to figure out how to go about all of the controls and how to get those zombies but all in all I play almost every day and it's super fun, all the characters and commentary is so cute! I definitely recommended years 10 and up. It can be challenging!! I also love that you can play both as plants and zombies :)
